I started with a 20min guided run (i reallly recomend the nike running up for getting into running) and was so motivated i ended up running for 40 minutes! i did my best mark ever! so excited for the motivating running content hahaha sending loveee

I'm so glad you've decided to share your training for the half marathon! I also started running during quarantine and I've been toying with the idea of running a half marathon but just like you the furthest I've ever run so far is 10k so I'm so excited you're sharing your journey and I can't wait to see you cross that finish line in september! Hopefully it'll also push me to stay consistent with my running 🥰🥰🥰 also I'd love to know if you're following a specific plan or how do decide what type of runs you do and things like that

Ciara, your videos give my week the oomph they need. AND you inspire me. I’m so glad your channel exists! 😀 And b/c if you I have discovered Beth O’Leary books.

Yes please to the running!! I've been running for 2 years now and am back to a 3x weekly schedule. I've never managed a 5k under 30 mins, so well done!! I loved the flat share, then the switch nearly as much. I've yet to read the other two. Did the first two on audio which really brought them to life as more than 1 narrator. Omg the cinammon and almond buns.... Yum!!

This was so inspiring. I have a 5k run at the end of May and am so out of shape, so this was exactly what I needed. Please keep on posting these kinds of videos. I love them all.

So excited to hear your thoughts on this book as I just finished reading it last night! I absolutely loved it and the plot twist totally threw me in the best way possible. Describing it as an earthquake on the page is a spot-on description! Also best of luck on the half marathon. I ran one in Memphis a couple years ago and enjoyed the training cycle so much. What an accomplishment to have crossed off your list!!

I am so excited for you to read The Count of Monte Cristo! I read it early this year and it is now genuinely my favorite book EVER. It's so clever and intense! The thousand pages just fly by---you don't even notice it. I think I remember you saying that it was Jay's favorite book too, right? Anyhow, thank you for the videos, they provide a lot of joy and coziness!

Just as you were about to go out on a 10k run a tray of doughnuts arrived. If I was in your place that definitely would have been a case of The No Show.😂

Oh The Count of Monte Cristo has been on my TBR for so many years ! I am actually from Marseille so I've seen the Chateau d'If (the island where the story starts) all my life. Nonetheless, I never found the courage to start it, this couldn't be more perfect

The Count of Monte Cristo, yes!!!! I have been wanting to read this book for literally 15 years. I JUST bought an Everyman’s edition and it arrived two days ago. This is perfect timing! So excited for this!!

No worries about the Count Of Monte Christo. Because it is one of the easiest fastest paced fun books I ever read. The size of it is deceiving.

Well done to you for the race and best wishes! Do not bet on listening to audiobooks whilst running though.... you will not be doing that during the race! Well.... you can for the long slow sessions, but do not make it a habit .... from someone who loves both reading and running 😄

I’m interested in the reading/training videos!!! Audiobooks while exercise (particularly running) is how I get through so many books. Which half marathon are you going? The furthest that I have done is 10k, and that was the Las Vegas Rock N Roll.

I read it in April and I was so disappointed. I felt similarly to you for that first 70%, and while I loved the last 30% after the reveal it didn’t make up for the first 70% for me and it makes me so sad. If I’m being honest, if I hadn’t read the rest of her books and LOVED them I would have DNF’d this. I wish she should have done the reveal more at 30% point instead. I hope people read her other books first, because this could put off people to her other amazing works!

Yay 🍩s‼️ 🍕 & 🍟‼️ I 💛 how your 🛋 matches your 📖 ‼️ The No Show sounds fun‼️ 🍿 & 🍫‼️It’s pretty ☁️ here in San Antonio, which means rain is a definitely around the corner‼️ ☕️ & 🍰‼️I remember dnfing The Count of Monte Cristo, because it was way too long‼️ Ps: The Inheritance of Orquidea Divina it starts out as pretty funny, but later turns more and more morbid even during the happy scenes, which don’t last for too long‼️ As for I Love You So Mochi; Kimi loves fashion but her mom sees it as frivolous, and she wants her daughter to become a serious painter, but Kimi doesn’t know what she wants?‼️ I almost done with A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea & Tomorrow‼️

I just checked the page count for Comte de Monte-cristo; it's about 1200, maybe a little less. So, I think I would like to join you on this one, if possible. Thx
