question for the fans of conversations with friends...I didn’t like normal people, because I didn’t like the characters and the distant writing style and also the toxic relationships. Would you recommend to give Sally Rooney another try with conversations with friends ? I heard those two books are different and some people like only on of them 🙈

A lot of people who don’t like Normal People prefer conversations with friends because it’s a more linear, coherent story - however I still find them very similar in terms of characters and relationships so if those were the things you didn’t like, Sally Rooney might not be for you!

What I found a bit weird was that you started to talk about Stephen King’s Misery book your boyfriend was dangling his foot over the side of the sofa.
