I’ve always used my own milk to treat cracked nipples. Lanolin and Vaseline work great, but my babies didn’t enjoy the taste of it. After each feeding I would hand express a few drops of milk and coat my nipples then let them air dry for few seconds. Breast milk has natural healing abilities and it allowed my nipples to heal faster. Hope this helps someone.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. I had a C-section 3 weeks ago (first baby); I never experienced pain, maybe some slight discomfort, but it never really hurt. Nurses gave me Arcoxia and Tylex and apparently those really helped me through recovery. The area around the scar still feels kind of numb. I can sit down, get up, walk and take care of my baby pleasantly. I hope this information is useful for any new Mom. I guess all experiences are different; some might be painful and some others not so much. Btw your baby is beautiful and really cute! Nice vlog!

I am almost 1 month post C section and I was not prepared for all of the things that come postpartum. I honestly feel traumatized and rushed into it with zero idea what to expect when I got home…. but none the less… my healthy baby boy makes me feel much better when I look at him. There needs to be more and more videos like this, everyone can’t always deliver vaginally

I had a vaginal delivery with my first, really bad experience though I had a diagnosis of pre eclampsia at 8cm dilated my sons heart rate dropped and I needed an assisted delivery with vacuum and episiotomy it sucked and my stitches came undone so I had to heal a hole down there you can imagine peeing with that trying to keep it cleaning bleeding and pooing was pretty scary so scared i would get an infection and to much scar tissue yook i weeks for the hole to fully close. I promise you there are allot of us who have horrible experiences with vaginal births aswell xx this time around I'm planning a c section i don't think it will be easier but I have more control than last time.

I was in severe pain for about 3 days straight. And now I have a kidney infection so I'm still in pain. I had 3 vaginal deliveries before this last pregnancy and was up and moving with no pain the next day after delivery. I wouldn't wish a c section on anyone and prefer vaginal delivery. I had bare minimal pain with my section so I was so grateful for that! By the end of the day I was a bit sore so I rested. Moving and walking helped tremendously! You have to move but go at your own pace and don't over do it. I had staples but they took them out three days later before so went home and put steri strips. I had very light bleeding but it lasted forever. Mine lasted 8 weeks. By 3 months I felt good and by 6 I felt great! Now 9 months pp and I'm back to myself. Granny panties for the win definitely! I found this video very helpful and very informative for those who might be having a c section (first or repeat).

I had a c section 5 years ago after having excruciating stalled labor. The surgery was quick and easy and baby had a high APGAR score. I recovered so fast the doctors let me go home 2 days later with just a 800mg ibuprofen prescription which helped keep pain to a minimum. I was able to take care of my baby and still do chores around the house. They put those special stitches in that absorb into the body so I never needed stitches removed. Sure, for the first few weeks I had "moments" of pain that felt kind of like hot shards of glass, but it still wasn't as bad as my labor pain. I would absolutely get an elective c section again. I'm due March 10, but doctor says he can do a c section at week 39 if I want to go with the sure thing and skip possible complications. Honestly I don't really want to try a VBAC it just sounds worse to me. My first baby was just over 8lbs, this one will probably be 8-9lbs because I have mild GD this time but I am watching my carb intake and cutting sugar so she probably won't be huge. I am so excited. 3/3/20 will probably be the day unless she comes earlier on her own.

My c section was emergency, after 26 hours of painful labor! It was very traumatic for me, I was put completely under during part of my surgery and I wasn’t able to see him when they pulled him out or have him on my chest they took him straight to the baby warming thing to cut the chord. Afterwards I was very loopy in and out of sleep and didn’t get to hold him for like a hour and a half after he was born. That whole night I threw up so many times which was so painful since I was literally just cut open. It was just all around very traumatic experience and not anywhere near what my birth plan was. I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant with my second and I have a c section scheduled for April 20 and I am honestly terrified even though people tell me the second one is much easier and smoother. But considering how traumatic my first one was I am just absolutely terrified. I’m hoping I will go into labor before my scheduled c section and be able to have her naturally because the thought of having another c section gives me so much anxiety!

Don't be scared! It honestly sounds scarier than it is. Recovery hurts ,but as long as you're keeping up with the meds they give you, you'll be fine

The colostrum dosent tide the baby over till your milk comes in lol it's a liquid that's literally jam packed with nutrients and good bacteria to give your baby the first good lining In the GI tract, that's why even if you don't want to breastfeed the doctors and nurses strongly recommend you at least feed for the first day or two, cus babies that don't get that liquid gold (literally what they call it lol) tend to have more GI tract problems down the road 😁😁 thanks for the vid, just wanted to help clear things up lol

I'm 40 weeks my baby is down but not entirely in my pelvis. They'll induce me this Friday 14 if I haven't had any labor symptoms by this sat/sun. I'm quite scared if they end up doing c-section. So far my Dr. say unless is a risky delivery then that's a possibility but so far she say is normal for 1st mom to be late and hopefully he'll go down by then. I just want to prepare myself for different outcomes. And this is definitely HELPFUL ❤

Hi Michelle How was your delivery?
@michellecortez385 жыл бұрын
@@nothinglikefamily4534 not what I expected. And since I went without dilatedi fektblike hell lol Tuesday I went in bc of fetus decrease movement. They keep it their since I was already scheduled. I try have it natural they put 2 different things down there idk the name of the 1st but the 2nd was Foley bulb both device did help me since I went zero to 5 by Thursday morning they put the pitocin dose follow by breaking my water to see if I could dilate more then 5 but i didn't and the dose was increasing my baby Heartbeat so they told me I could keep trying but my baby could be at risk so it was keep trying or a c section. And well I chose what was best for my baby so i end up been cut 😭🤷♀️ they told me my cervix was to long and even know I dilate he was still up. Anyways I end up having a healthy baby boy jun 13 at 7:22 PM 9.11 Lb and God knows I'm still scared of the csection specially cuz I got temperature I had to had blood transfusions it was to much for me 🤭🤣 I can't believe I had it. In total I was 6 days in the hospital I was really stressed out by then. Experience wise ..shhhhh I wish I could it be more nicer and smoother. Oh well at least my baby is fine ❤✌

Oh..That seems like a bit of my story. Congratulations for having a healthy baby:) I was also induced for my first child in Aug, 2016 and was 8cm dilated with pitocin but due to baby got distressed, I had to go for emergency c-section which was too scary for me. I was in total shock as I dint expect this after being 4 days in hospital for induction already. But I delivered healthy baby boy, so forgot everything:) Came home at 6th day. Now scheduled c-section on my due date 2nd July 2019 as I want to try vaginal Birth but can't make my mind fully for vaginal birth. If I would go into labour normally then doctors would let me go for vaginal birth but I'm still making my mind whether to just ask them for do my c-section, but confused:(

Takerra Taylor yea I definitely was nervous cause I didn't know what to expect but the whole experience was weird and afterwards painful you just know that you've been messed with and surgery was taken place so the recovery takes a while definitely walk around after surgery and move around that gas because that gas build-up definitely what causes pain as well....make lota a farts happen and take it easy , TAKE UR PAIN MEDS

I actually had my incision glued. I thought that was pretty cool. I recovered pretty well at 4 weeks. I’ll be having a second c-section with a different doctor and potentially different hospital so I’m not sure how to feel about that yet. I’m afraid this time around won’t be as great. Fingers crossed! Great video.
