In this video I finally upgraded the exhaust on my 2019 Street Glide CVO! I could have gone with a number of companies for exhaust, but I decided to go with Tab Performance and here's what I'll say... First, I was not disappointed at all! Second, good things come to those who wait!

PRELOADERS:
Subscribers to this channel who are dedicated to being proficient in slow speed motorcycle operation.
What does PRELOAD mean?
PRELOAD:
Engaging the throttle to raise the RPM’s (revolutions per minute) above idle and holding the throttle there, with the clutch pulled in (no power to the rear wheel, “in reserve” “PRELOADED”). This process will make power to the rear wheel available to the rider immediately when the clutch is opened up. There’s no need for the rider to be concerned with twisting the throttle for power because it’s already PRELOADED.

Practice Sessions
Practice sessions are usually held on a weekly basis (Saturday or Sunday) in Pooler, GA. These sessions are free of charge to V.I.PRELOADERS ONLY. THERE ARE ONLY TEN (10) SPOTS AVAILABLE PER PRACTICE SESSION. THESE TEN (10) SPOTS WILL BE FILLED BASED ON THE ORDER IN WHICH I RECEIVE EMAIL RESERVATIONS. WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE EMAIL NOTIFICATION OF A SCHEDULED PRACTICE SESSION, IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THAT PRACTICE SESSION, YOU MUST SEND AN EMAIL STATING YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. IF THERE IS STILL AN AVAILABLE SPOT FOR YOU, YOU WILL BE SENT A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH A CONFIRMATION NUMBER (1-10). I ended up finding TAB by accident, originally i wanted some reinhardt but it wouldn't let me ship them to my USArmy address in Europe, and then i did googled exhaust and Tab popped up, i watched some reviews from wrenching and riding and others. I put them on a week ago and i am so glad that i found TAB. They definitely have made me extremely happy. I smile like a kid in a candy store every time i start it up, or roll the throttle.

I see this video came out in July 2021 and somehow I missed it. What a fantastic video. Finding a guy that knows what he's doing with the dyno and explaining what's he's doing and what he's looking for, could be a video all on its own. I know you said you didn't buy the bike to race it but when I installed a cam, exhaust, high flow air intake yadda, yadda, and then had it on the dyno etc... it was like a brand new different bike all together and you can just feel the horses beneath you. When you pull out to pass a car and the bike takes off like a rocket... Can't describe the feeling. Good for you getting the engine upgraded and walking us through the process. Even listening to your video on my computer I can really hear the difference in tab exhaust. Thx again Robert. Now I want to upgrade my current street glide that I told myself that a stage 1 kit was all I'm going to do... lol.. Thx again, great video and looks like a class dealership.

I am so very glad to hear you are going with TAB Performance. I have those on my bike and recommended them to you a while ago. I have the BAM Stick slip ons with the Zombie baffles and I am so very happy with them. Best sounding slip ons in my opinion. I have owned a lot of exhaust systems and never have been happy with just slip ons. When I had these installed, my dealership couldn't believe how good they sounded. Now you have the stage 3 and getting the full exhaust. You will be amazed with them. Also the quality of the finish and overall product is very nice. Kudos to TAB Performance for helping you out!!!

Tab Performance on my Harley Sport Glide with Zombie baffles. Neighbor has a 6 month old baby so I changed them out to the quiet baffle. What amazed me in the quiet baffle still sounds amazing when you twist the throttle. So I ease out the neighborhood and then I can have a little fun. But if you want bad ass the Zombie baffle is the way to go. Also the baffles are easy to change back and forth so next bike week the Zombie's will be back installed. Could not be happier with my Tab Exhaust ! Great video and really enjoy your channel and the whole pay it forward concept. Awesome.

Hey Rob. Bike sounds and looks great as ever and thanks again for another great video bro. I recently did a stage one on my 2017 RGS and I noticed the bike seems to run a lot smoother (breathes better) for lack of words. I changed the mufflers from stock (Vance &Hinds) a while ago. Changing out the header, breather and tune definitely changed the sound and performance of my bike. I can’t imagine what a stage three would do but maybe I’ll get there one day. Enjoy your ride bro.

Hey Miles, I did the same as you on my 2015 sgs, but I went one stop further and had the catalytic converter taken out of the exhaust to let it breathe. Night and day difference and the bike doesn't get as hot. FYI.

You can search back through some of Matt Laidlaw’s videos where he covers the 122 kit in great detail. He talks about cam selection, expected hp & tq dyno results, and which S.E. Kit is best suited to one’s riding style. It might be interesting to know if your own perception of your 122 kit matches Matt’s descriptions in his video.

Love the video. Just bought a 2020 RG with TAB BAM sticks/zombie baffles & TAB headers . Full stage 1 and tuned. I love the exhaust, but wife, who often rides with me would need ear plugs with this configuration. So changed out to the 2 1/2" baffles today in about 1.5 hours. Deeper rumble and obviously quitter than the zombie's. I got a feeling I'll be changing back-and-forth the baffles depending on where I'm riding.

Hi Robert it's Anthony formality from New York as you are. I escaped 6 months ago as things were going from bad to worse. My job working as a facade inspector for an engineering company disappeared as workmen weren't allowed into buildings. I moved to Florida. I know highway 1 near Kings Plaza, great full for the work you guys do. I've been watching your show and videos and like 👍them all. I'm not riding right now, ( my wife bought me a 700 shadow for Father's day surprise) I had to stop and raise my 3 daughters and send them to private school. I enjoy your show and videos and like the improvements you make in your students riding abilities. Kudos to you. I was especially happy as I can feel that you are over your new exhaust system. Sounds great even though the phone. I'm hoping to be able to ride again as soon as I can find work that is rewarding to me, I have to like what I do or I can't put my shoes on in the morning. That tech knows his craft!!! 14.3 Air/fuel is ideal for HP. Factory sets it at 13.7 ish due to EPA restrictions which means a leaner air/fuel ratio which also means a hot condition which is bad for your engine and it's parts. Lean=hot and that's a no go. It would be reasonable to assume that Sales drives everything. Products go to the locations that sell. As to the 122CI. Interesting Fury didn’t know about the kit. It’s a genuine HD Screaming Eagle kit. Absolutely love the Tab ensemble. And that nice street U-turn w/head turn, clutch, brake and throttle, once again demonstrating the Art of the Pre-load and the way of the PIF Road Warrior. Stay being over the moon is why we ride and love these bikes. Ride safe and ride often.

Hey Robert... I also have a 2021 CVO Limited and have the Tab mufflers on it, but the 1.75 baffles because I like to listen to my music. Just like a little rumble when you twist the throttle, nothing like the Zombie's... The nice thing is if you tire of the Zombie baffles, you can switch to the 2.25 baffle and it will still sound sweet, but as I said I run the 1.75's in both my CVO Limited and my CVO Road Glide because I am old and I like to keep it down. I think the 1.75 baffles would be a good choice for your Limited, but to each his own. As long as we all enjoy, that's the main thing. Take care and I enjoy your vids.. Larry P.

I am in Wisconsin one of the dealers said he was fifty bikes behind from last year. Robert you are correct never saw a shop this stacked I traded my wife’s 2017 RoadGlide S for that 2021 Bronze Armor CVO RoadGlide parked next to your Favorite Black Hole CVO RoadGlide.I bought her that bike as we are both older riders. I’m 64 she’s a couple years behind.Liked the safety features RDRS hill assist alone was worth it.Way better Nav in the sun Rockford Fosgate stereo sounds great.Her Dad was a Chicago motorcycle cop he passed when she was 11 she has his motorcycle DNA. When I am asked what my favorite accessory I point and say “She’s right over there. Thankyou Mr Simmons Happy 4th to all !

Our dealership, Destination Harley Davidson in Tacoma, Washington sells quite a few motorcycles as well (we bought 5 over the past couple of years). Plus, they have motorcycle parking, too. Always a plus! Thanks for this great walk-around. We enjoy visiting other dealerships, too. When we do, we always get 2 poker chips and 1 t-shirt each as well as a decal to add to our cargo trailer. That's our fun.

We keep trying to get our Harley dealership to get in to the custom build business, too. There is a lot of talent in their shop that is being utilized after hours. Garage work, if you know what I mean. The only problem with that is the big word, warranty.

businesses with motorcycle parking are a big plus. especially when they have the concrete pad for the kickstands so your bike won't sink into the hot asphalt. i wish more dealers had a dyno room. didn't know harley went back to using their own trucks. it was schneider trucking. and harley used to ship their bikes on aluminum pallets that were rectangle and their bikes were covered with a cardboard box. nice to see the inside of the truck and see how the bikes are carried. i changed my stock pipes out for the screaming eagle pipes and then to the reinharts. now maybe just maybe to the tabs. keep up the great work on the videos. hope to meet you 17 july. go tame that lion!!

Hello probably late to the game on your upgrades to you motorcycle. My son and I both have factory 47 bars on our bikes. Install was easy we did the upgrade ourselves. I have a 2019 ROad glide ultra my son has a 2020 Street glide special. Both bikes have 14” bars quality and ride are great. Many choices out there sure you will be happy with what ever you choose. TAB are great too both also have slip on zombie baffles.😎 . Sorry to be long winded thank you for your service. RSMF

The 122 kit, which is applicable to the 107 (becomes 119), 114, and 117 platforms, is available as the Stage 3 for M8 right on the HD website. Why is this inconsistency happening? Honestly my guess is that a majority or HD riders have egos which don’t like to admit being wrong or not knowing something. If there’s one thing I’ve learned modifying my Electra glide, it’s get 2nd and 3rd opinions on everything. I’m not a mechanic, but the wealth of knowledge available out there on HD touring bikes makes it possible for all of us. Thanks Robert!

Yea the screaming eagle big bore stage 3 for 114 and 117 IS 122 ci... doing the heads later on will bring it to 131. I went with the Tab 2 into 2 headers and 4.5 Bam Sticks with Zombie baffles, and tuned it to my 107 2019 FLTRX with the Powervision and love the way it sounds and performs until I do the 475c S&S cam chest...
