In this video, I test rode a 2021 Road Glide CVO @ Falcons Fury Harley Davidson. Once again very impressed with this dealership.
You may be asking yourself, who are PRELOADERS?
PRELOADERS:
Subscribers to this channel who are dedicated to being proficient in slow speed motorcycle operation.
What does PRELOAD mean?
PRELOAD:
Engaging the throttle to raise the RPM’s (revolutions per minute) above idle and holding the throttle there, with the clutch pulled in (no power to the rear wheel, “in reserve” “PRELOADED”). This process will make power to the rear wheel available to the rider immediately when the clutch is opened up. There’s no need for the rider to be concerned with twisting the throttle for power because it’s already PRELOADED.

THERE ARE ONLY TEN (10) SPOTS AVAILABLE PER PRACTICE SESSION. THESE TEN (10) SPOTS WILL BE FILLED BASED ON THE ORDER IN WHICH I RECEIVE EMAIL RESERVATIONS. WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE EMAIL NOTIFICATION OF A SCHEDULED PRACTICE SESSION, IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THAT PRACTICE SESSION, YOU MUST SEND AN EMAIL STATING YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. IF THERE IS STILL AN AVAILABLE SPOT FOR YOU, YOU WILL BE SENT A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH A CONFIRMATION NUMBER (1-10). IF ALL TEN (10) AVAILABLE SPOTS ARE ALREADY RESERVED, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL ADVISING YOU OF THAT. The 14” windshield works great specially in the rain and you can hear your stereo, but the 9” looks cool. The 12” I don’t care for. I ride 2019 Road Glide Special.

That is a sharp bike! I just purchased a 2021 Roadglide CVO this past June. My bike is the black hole color scheme. First bike I’ve ever purchased and that I have ever ridden. I have nothing to compare this bike to due to never riding another bike in my life. I’ve had it for a month and all I know is that I love it! Watching your videos and putting the techniques into practice, it’s helped me so much. I’ve already put 730 miles on it and a lot of those miles are slow riding practice. My confidence is so much higher and it showed this past weekend at a 3 day riding course. I nailed the tasked that we had to do in the course. The instructor couldn’t believe that I had only been riding for a month. It’s mainly due to practicing your techniques that you teach. It has helped me so much. Thank you! Btw, I am 49 years old and I’m 6’ 5” tall. I purchased a smoked 11” clockworks windshield. It was perfect and hits me about the height of my lips when I sit on the bike. It made a big difference for sure. Looks good on the bike as well. I’ve got a lot to work on to be the boss of my bike but wow, I’ve came a long way in a month and look forward to practicing and gaining more confidence daily. Thanks!

Sweet Road Glide CVO. Robert just watched this on TV, I immediately wanted to comment on what you said and asked. 1st, I do have a premaintenace package. My local Harley Davidson shop worked with me and transfered it to where I can get all my work done close to my house, when my bike was bought at Bruce Rossmeyer in Daytona. I also have this package on my Street Glide Revival.I also agree with what you said with FOLO. You have earned this and God bless you. As always thank you for your passion. I know it’s an old video but Ifyou are thinking the VIP service is free it’s not. It’s thousands of dollars. Consider $500 to change oils and check it over X 6. Pickup and delivery each time adds up as well. I’m guessing it was $2500 plus you cannot do any mechanical additions to the bike while under that program. They have to do it at that dealership. Def cannot do aftermarket cams or tuners while under the VIP program.

Robert, you may or may not know this, you measure from the middle screw that is in the fairing and go vertical, and cross that vertical 'measuring tape' horizontally level with your chin while sitting upright on the motorcycle, and the height of the vertical 90 degrees crossing the level horizontal 'stick' with your chin is the height you need for your fairing. Hopefully I'm explaining correctly.

Great video Robert. I too have 'expectations" when you buy a new vehicle. The dealership looked clean and modern, friendly staff, service dept sounded great w 6 services free, a free membership to H.O.G. , welcoming gift, catalogs, but the bike ready to go out the door in less than show room condition is real egg on their face and reflects bad on them. I purchased what I thought was a brand new bike off the show room floor from the dealership I have done business with for years and quickly learned after signing the papers on my street glide, the staff was taking it to and from home and had 300 miles on it and was dirty when the saddle baggs came off. I was pissed !! ... p.S. I would like to apply to the NY city PD. I want to afford 4 new CVO's with all the trimmings without batting an eye... bahahahahaha ... just kiddin.. good for you that you can do that. the Road glide is beautiful and I know a few people that went from the street glide to RG because of the frame mounted fairing and easier to move around. awesome video robert...this is the first video of yours that i have seen and loved it....and yes i hit the like button, the subsrcibed button and the bell button....i am a retired florida state officer ( state corrections ) did 21yrs....i ride a 2014 ultra limited 2 tone blue peace officer special edition...my wife bought it for me for my retirement gift....i total agree with your yolo saying.....last year i was in a horrible truck accident and died....god and the great medical staff brought me back to life....spent 5 months in the hospital major truama and multible surgies....still recoverying....but never thought that when i walked out my front door it was going to be my last.....changed my way of thinking and life foreever.....i have some friends in georgia and plan on riding that way....would love to meet up....or if u ever come to florida....sorry so long of a post....again awesome videos....ride safe

I bought a $14,000 pre-owned Indian Springfield, and it was in impeccable condition with a full tank of gas when I bought it. The salesman also helped to load the bike on my trailer. For the price of a CVO, the dealership should check and recheck to make sure everything is up to your standards.
