Last night, I had a massive mental illness panic attack. I got aggressive, I pushed, hit, fought, my beloved boyfriend. He stayed, I ran off, he chased me. Even after I made his night a living hell. Screaming at the top of my lung, telling him to get the f*** off me, let me go... but he Didnt. He held onto me for dear life... He stayed and saw my monster unleash. But yet, he still stayed, love me, when he didnt have to. I love this man more than anything... I want him, forever.. I LOVE YOU JOSH... Thank you for staying with me, and loving me. I hope she recovers soon. I used to suffer from depression. But after having supporting people in my life, and years of getting therapy, and a ten-day hospital stay, and some meds (but those were temporary but for some people they’re permanent), I feel a lot better now. I still have some bad days but overall I’m happy. Your granddaughter will eventually be happy soon. Good luck to you guys.

I scare myself when I feel love. I had my innocence stolen as a child. I’ve been betrayed by nearly everyone I love. Feeling love, feeling that strong connection terrifies me. I’m fiercely protective and loyal. But too many times I’ve been used and discarded. It’s broken me but there’s still a part of me that refuses to give up on life no matter how much I want too. Sometimes I hate myself for it. It would be so much easier to rest... to sleep... to not feel this pain. I scare myself when I see how much damage I have caused. When I selfharm and realise I could have died. When I realise I barely felt the blade. When I realise I’m not in control. I can’t stop cutting myself. I’m addicted.

This may sound cheesy, but you can't give up. You're not alone and you don't deserve the pain you feel. You deserve to be happy. Sometimes, I feel like giving up too. I don't want to die, but I want to at least want to sleep my problems away, put life on pause. But then I'm reminded why I keep going. For those I love, and for those that might love me. It's okay to feel love. Love is part of life. Love can save a life (told you this might be cheesy). The moral of my long, rambling message is, you can't give up, no matter how much you scare yourself. Everyone scares themselves at some point or another, but don't let it destroy you. Overcome your fear. It may be hard, I won't lie, but in the long run, it will be worth it. If all else fails, call a crisis hotline. I've heard it helps. And there's always the youtube people who are going through similar things and don't seem to hesitate when writing an uplifting comment. Stay Strong, don't give up. Listen to the part of you who refuses to give in. That light inside will see you through.

This song describes an OC I have perfectly. She was a young child with abusive parents but another person helped her out. She became so obsessed with this person that she mistook it as love and killed any woman that even looked his direction. Her mental state just slowly caught up to her, and she had almost 2 personalities, the crazy one, and the broken one.

This song is for us... The children who were brought up to love others but never receiving it back. To us... Who were expected to treat people good even when they are abusing us. If we can't love every second, show sympathy every second for that person we become evil. I felt so validated everytime they showed me an ounce of love... even if it was so little. I was living off crumbs. I continued loving those who arent good for me because I've been conditioned to be like this. I expect the bare minimum because if I expected more I was told I was selfish. Never once they tell me I am deserving of good. They told me to be ashamed.

I know I'm late as I fell in love with that song the day it was released, which means a long time ago, but I just came back to it after quite a long time and I must say I still love it so so much. That's how you know a song is great. When love lasts. I LOVE IT. This is incredible! Did you make a small change in the wat you sing the first 'I scare myself'? I love the dark and dramatic vibes I get from this song. Also love how you kept if focused on the piano instead of tons of other instruments, that really works for this particular song. That instrumental bit tho, I said it for the live version but I'll say it again, I love it. That dramatic string instrument really added to it. I still haven't read the Shatter Me series but I could see this working for Aelin and Rowan as well from the Throne of Glass series

Throne Of Glass is awesome! But not as good as this song! The singing feels heartfelt - unlike most songs. "Shatter Me" is actually a really good name for a book/series! Thanks for making yet another brilliant song, and keep making them! Ur AMAZING XX
