Falsch. 1. gibt es kein Gesetz extra für Bettas. 2. können und müssen Bettas sogar in nicht größer als 15 Liter Aquarien gehalten werden, weil sie sonst zu viel schwimmen und die Flossen dabei kaputt gehen. In 57 Liter Becken sterben sie, weil sie keine Kraft mehr haben. So ein Blödsinn von selbsternannten Tierschützern kommt dabei raus, wenn man keine Ahnung über Bedürfnisse einzelner Fische hat. In Thailand und überall werden sie sogar in 2-3 Litern erfolgreich gehalten.

In der Natur haben sie auch nicht mehr. Das sind Saisonfische, die maximal 5 Monate bis zur nächsten Trockenperiode leben. Manche überleben länger. Aber so lange wie in Aquarien auch nicht. Du kannst nicht von dir als Mensch ausgehen, weil es dir zu klein vorkommt und auch nicht mit Barschen vergleichen, die viel Strecke schwimmen. Alles was über 10 Liter ist, ist nicht förderlich für den Betta. Die Asiaten wissen am besten, wie die Bedingungen für Bettas sind. Die haben schönere als unsere Zoohandlungen und werden auch nur in Gläsern aufbewahrt.

The fact that when they were filming during the day (seeing as the geckos weren’t alseep) makes it so they have no lamp. I could rant all day about how malnourished those poor geckos are. They need enough humidity to shed and need to bask under a lamp to digest properly BUT THEYDIDNT EVEN TURN ON THE LAMP DURING THE DAY. This irritates me so much how bad he keeps the geckos. Seeing how skinny the geckos are irritates me even more, they obviously are underfed and need more calcium and vitamins. I have a suggestion for the tank(s) you should put them in. You could easily put them all in a 10gal with dividers and put a slow flow filter in with a heater. You could also very easily put them in 3 10gals and have community tanks. They all will need a heater and slow flow filter. There are many other species of fish they can live with, but make sure you do your research. Some of the fish I've had luck with are guppies, cory cats, and pleco's. And never ever put plastic plants in with them, it can seriously injur them (mostly ripping their fins).

Hey dude, I love your videos and the betta’s you picked out are pretty sick. But, the tank they’re in isn’t that great for them. As dope as the tank is, it’s pretty hazardous (the compartments for each betta are pretty small, and the flow being too strong). I really recommend the Aqua One Betta Kit Trio on Amazon, it’s a great tank for holding more than one betta. It’s a bit pricy, (being $135) but with some nice decor and maybe live plants it’s totally worth it. Also, I didn’t notice any heaters in the tank (if there is one srry lol I didn’t notice it then). Betta’s like warm water, in the zone of 75-85.

I have one of those albino all white bettas,named Angelo (Angel for short), and he is the most smartest fish I’ve ever seen/had. When I come up to him, he starts swimming around and going crazy, and he greets me when I get home from school! When I put a LEGO figure next to his tank (I collect LEGO), he trys to attack it or something! He even has his own personalities and mannerisms. It probably sounds like your average naive fish, but trust me, he knows your there, and he knows who you are!! That’s why I love him so much!

Elizabeth Starks Check If the temperatures of both tanks are exactly the same. If it’s a small difference, place your Betta into a container with the aquarium water of your older tank. Float the container on top of the newer tank so the Betta and slowly adjust to the new water temperatures. It takes about 30 minutes or depends on how similar the temperatures are. Once the temperatures are the same, you can place your Betta into the newer tank.

I’m so sorry for all the fans out here but this isn’t right He didn’t acclimate the fish to the temperature and ph of the water wich can bring them into a (lethal) shock He didn’t condition the water (wich is needed if you don’t have live plants) The tanks are WAY to small (beta’s swim long distances in the wild) He needs more (custom) filter media to keep the water as clean as possible (especially for the last beta since he’ll get all the waist in the water from the other 2) He left his tank running for 2 DAYS!!! For a good and healthy bacteria, ph and ammonia buildup you need the tank cycling for 2 weeks minimum before the fish can be safely introduced He got plastic plants wich can really really hurt your beta (I’m not sure if the walls are opaque but if they aren’t) he should put paper or something in between the tanks because the fish can get stressed and territorial if they see each other And the way he just threw them in the nett and touched them with his bare (probably unwashed) hands was just so... i wouldn’t say cruel but i cant think of any other word for this He is obviously only in it for the KZbin$$$, so for everyone who watched this video and wants to keep or already has a beta fish, please don’t do it like this. Just like when you’re getting any pet, DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! no worries about the first time mistakes, it happens to everyone. just make sure your fish have a bit of a bigger environment and get some dividers in between them so they don't flare at each other. you got all males and they are aggressive to each other. that stresses them out a bit so the dividers will help with that. make sure you have a reliable heater and water conditioner for the next time you do a water change. no worries!!!! just make sure you keep them safe :)

they only have one hide too :/ you need at least one hide on each side of the tank and one has to be a moist hide, or you can make a separate hide for the moist one also the water looks disgusting. theres moss and stuff in it and clearly needs to be changed. a rock should also be put in the middle of the water bowl or crickets will drown and die in the water

Protip: You definitely shouldn’t just pour the fish out of its cup like that and immediately throw it into its tank. The fish should be able to adjust to the temperature of the water before it’s moved into its new home. Next time, let the cup or bag sit in the tank so the fish can get used to the temperature, which will take around 30 minutes at most if you want to be safe. Otherwise, your betta fish could potentially pass early due to the shock from the sudden temperature change, which is never good for a betta or any fish for that matter. Suddenly changing the temperature of the water is one way to kill your fish, which you surely wouldn’t want especially if you paid $20 for that betta. Just for future reference.

That’s so unfair. Read your comments. I know people are complaining about the size of the “tank” and i know you see it .That’s basically abuse. You’re not providing the basic necessities for them. The smallest tank bettas should be in is a 2.5 gallon. You don’t even have a heater for them. I doubt you cycled the tank or put water conditioner in it. Plus the middle fake plant will most definitely rip the bettas fins.Don’t get betta fish if you can’t take care of them, it’s simple.

I hope you put those beautiful bettas in either a 2.5 min or larger aquarium with a heater and spounge filtration, live plants. They will survive in those little spaces, but you'll need to change the water consistantly to keep clean water. If you want them to thrive, give them more space in a cycled aquarium. Water parameters (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) need to be monitored. Ammonia (their own poop and pee) burns their gills and body, fin and tail rot a big concern. Good luck.

I gotta add something here I have been keeping leopard geckos for a long time and I even successfully breed them, I do agree they should have fatter tails and that it doesn't come with age... Sure when there roughly 1-3 months old there isn't much you can do there growing rapidly and need feedings everyday but once they hit 3-4 months old there tails start to get bigger since they arn't growing as fast. However, the leopard geckos that were shown do seem to be under weight for their age. I agree if you put to many in the geckos wont eat them and the crickets will attack the leopard geckos. However, he can up the feedings and even try more wholesome foods like silkworms, hornworms and superworms to add in there diet to keep them at a healthy weight since they do look really thin given how old they are.
