The fact that when they were filming during the day (seeing as the geckos weren’t alseep) makes it so they have no lamp. I could rant all day about how malnourished those poor geckos are. They need enough humidity to shed and need to bask under a lamp to digest properly BUT THEYDIDNT EVEN TURN ON THE LAMP DURING THE DAY. This irritates me so much how bad he keeps the geckos. Seeing how skinny the geckos are irritates me even more, they obviously are underfed and need more calcium and vitamins. They obviously don’t eat enough of it, therefor they are saying hello to bone cancer. I could rant all day about the poor geckos, but I’m tired.

I have a suggestion for the tank(s) you should put them in. You could easily put them all in a 10gal with dividers and put a slow flow filter in with a heater. You could also very easily put them in 3 10gals and have community tanks. They all will need a heater and slow flow filter. There are many other species of fish they can live with, but make sure you do your research. Some of the fish I've had luck with are guppies, cory cats, and pleco's. And never ever put plastic plants in with them, it can seriously injur them (mostly ripping their fins).

I’m so sorry for all the fans out here but this isn’t right He didn’t acclimate the fish to the temperature and ph of the water wich can bring them into a (lethal) shock He didn’t condition the water (wich is needed if you don’t have live plants) The tanks are WAY to small (beta’s swim long distances in the wild) He needs more (custom) filter media to keep the water as clean as possible (especially for the last beta since he’ll get all the waist in the water from the other 2) He left his tank running for 2 DAYS!!! For a good and healthy bacteria, ph and ammonia buildup you need the tank cycling for 2 weeks minimum before the fish can be safely introduced He got plastic plants wich can really really hurt your beta (I’m not sure if the walls are opaque but if they aren’t) he should put paper or something in between the tanks because the fish can get stressed and territorial if they see each other And the way he just threw them in the nett and touched them with his bare (probably unwashed) hands was just so... i wouldn’t say cruel but i cant think of any other word for this He is obviously only in it for the KZbin$$$, so for everyone who watched this video and wants to keep or already has a beta fish, please don’t do it like this. Just like when you’re getting any pet, DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! Make sure you have a healthy and safe setup and all the other info you need to take care of the animal before you pick them up Thank you for reading this and I wish you all an animal-cruelty free day🐶🐱🐹🐰🐼🦁🐯🐟🐠❤️

Hey dude, I love your videos and the betta’s you picked out are pretty sick. But, the tank they’re in isn’t that great for them. As dope as the tank is, it’s pretty hazardous (the compartments for each betta are pretty small, and the flow being too strong). I really recommend the Aqua One Betta Kit Trio on Amazon, it’s a great tank for holding more than one betta. It’s a bit pricy, (being $135) but with some nice decor and maybe live plants it’s totally worth it. Also, I didn’t notice any heaters in the tank (if there is one srry lol I didn’t notice it then). Betta’s like warm water, in the zone of 75-85.

Please be careful with this tank. A lot of people reported that the bettas got sucked into the filtration system or into the other bettas tanks. It's killed a lot of bettas. You should get a 20Long and use dividers, they'd be much happier and have a better chance at life!

Elizabeth Starks Check If the temperatures of both tanks are exactly the same. If it’s a small difference, place your Betta into a container with the aquarium water of your older tank. Float the container on top of the newer tank so the Betta and slowly adjust to the new water temperatures. It takes about 30 minutes or depends on how similar the temperatures are. Once the temperatures are the same, you can place your Betta into the newer tank.

Protip: You definitely shouldn’t just pour the fish out of its cup like that and immediately throw it into its tank. The fish should be able to adjust to the temperature of the water before it’s moved into its new home. Next time, let the cup or bag sit in the tank so the fish can get used to the temperature, which will take around 30 minutes at most if you want to be safe. Otherwise, your betta fish could potentially pass early due to the shock from the sudden temperature change, which is never good for a betta or any fish for that matter. Suddenly changing the temperature of the water is one way to kill your fish, which you surely wouldn’t want especially if you paid $20 for that betta. Just for future reference.

I hope you put those beautiful bettas in either a 2.5 min or larger aquarium with a heater and spounge filtration, live plants. They will survive in those little spaces, but you'll need to change the water consistantly to keep clean water. If you want them to thrive, give them more space in a cycled aquarium. Water parameters (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) need to be monitored. Ammonia (their own poop and pee) burns their gills and body, fin and tail rot a big concern. Good luck.

For future betta keepers: they need at MINIMUM 2.5 gallons. Personally I would give a minimum of 5 gallons. Never put betta males to where they can constantly see eachother/possibly jump out of their enclosure into another male's tank, or out in general. Moving water stresses bettas, you can get away with just skimming water, but currents will be too much. Bettas CAN have tank mates, despite popular belief; they just cannot be giant, colorful, big-finned fish.

this is one of the worst ways to keep a betta. they will get stressed being able to see each other, because they are fighting fish, its what they do. if one gets sick they all get sick since they are sharing water. The tanks are WAYYYYY to small, they need at least 2 gallons each (although you can probably get away with 1 gallon). also, a heater is recommended for betta fish. Please fix your fish situation, or you will have 3 really sad unhealthy fish. :(

I heard people at a pet store saying it is OK to keep clown fish with discus, why would you listen to some scammer without any official training instead of doing hour own research. Bettas need at least 3 gallons, each, preferably 5 or more. Those tanks are 2 gallons in total, I viewed the website, so each one is literally less than 0.75 gallons. The flow produced by the crappy "filter" on the tank is way to much for betta fish. To make matters worse you don't even know about know about the cycling process. PLEASE do research from a reputable source instead of just setting a bad example for your fans. I have made a comprehensive study regarding long term health, lifespan, size, and feeding habits of Bettas according to tank size, if anyone would like me to post it. (And yes I did copy my own comment from the previous video, this is a point that needs to be demonstrated to you)

1. The tank is way too small. Your bettas are gonna have such sad lives. 2. They're gonna see each other and want to fight, in fact they might jump over the glass and reach each other. 3. You didn't float the fish. You need to float the betta's containers in the water for at least 30 minutes so that the water temperatures can even out. Don't be surprised when your fish die.

1: I agree that the tanks could be bigger, it nicer to have an area where you can put plants for them to feel safe in, but Betas live in small streams and can live in very small places. 2: Its okay for betas to see each other, it is mostly just things that move and have color that they flare at. (like everything) If you have a beta go up to its tank, it will most likely flare. My Beta flares at the mail when we set it down. 3: If you leave the water to room temp and you bought the beta and its water is room temp than its OkAy. You can slowly mix the water too, but fish are pretty durable, they have to be to live OutSide..These fish naturally live in a place that can get down to 50 degrees in the winter. Although its not ideal, they can live with it. It is best to keep the temperature around 75 and even inside.

theyre pretty easy to take care of id say, but can be fairly expensive to get everything they need. Things they need: - A reasonable sized tank (at a very minimum 2.5 gallons, although many people advocate for minimum 5 gallon) - a heater (they prefer water temperatures around 80 degrees Fahrenheit) - a thermometer to check the temperature. - a filter and biomedia - water conditioner - food - a balanced diet. i feed my guy pellets normally and occasionally bloodworms/daphnia/mysis as a treat :) - substrate (when i asked some people said they didnt really need it, but it helps to filter the tank a bit and its good for planting live plants) - live or silk plants (plastic plants can tear their fins - live and silk are a bit more expensive - live plants will also help to deal with ick in the water) - hiding places (such as a cave or castle or somesuch - or just a whole lot of plants) - if you opt for live plants, they will need a light. when you add all of that up, it can get pretty pricey. i have admittedly upgraded my boy several times, but all in all ive spent around 300$ on him. If you were smarter than me and used coupons and sales and such to your advantage and didnt buy three whole seperate aquariums you could probably do it under 100$ :) After you get the initial expense out of the way though, theyre pretty easy to care for. twice daily feedings and weekly water changes of around 25-30%. good luck and enjoy if you decide to keep one! :)

I know right! There are super skinny and obviously malnourished. They need a way bigger tank because that tank isn’t even big enough for 1 leopard gecko, baby or not. They also needs lights on at all times (expect night) but seeing as they are not asleep, means it’s not night. They also probably don’t get the vitamins and calcium they need, meaning bone cancer could come in there way. Oh, and did you see how they didn’t even care if a bug with a potential fatal disease was in the tank, saying “let it eat it”. Oh and don’t even get me started about the fact they CANNOT BE IN THE FLIPPING SAME TANK TOGETHER. This could cause them to get super stressed, and even if you do put them together, only ONE hiding spot? ARE YOU SERIOUS? I feel so bad for them, I would take them and give them the homes they DESERVE. The fact there is loose straw plants while they eat in their tank can cause the geckos to choke if it gets caught in the cricket while eating. Seeing as they get no light, they porobably have issues with shedding, and digesting their food, as they need enough humidity in the tank for shedding, and they need to sit underneath a basking lamp for about 2 hours to digest their food properly. Sorry if this was a bit long but I had to say it...

Okay so people are worried about acclimation but water was room temp, same as the store. Next yes that tank is too small but they can’t see each other. It’s fogged plastic in between.
