Penguin soilder is extremely underrated in goat, for the simple reason, you can flip him, and send an opponent's card plus himself back to the hand. It takes a higher skill to play it correctly, but using it along with Swords like any stall player should. It works, and I get hell for running swords. But ether my opponent let's it go off and I get to set up. Or they're forced to burn a resource hitting the swords. MST and heavy storm are both at 1, and if they use a dust tornado, keeps them from using it on my more aggressive traps. Just a little food for thought

Wow dude i was building an almost the same deck and this poped up in my feed 🤯 The problem i run into is that its hard to make a deck to combat the "local meta" and the "online-tournament meta", I must play 2 different decks at that point and i dont want to do that, since i want to give my maximum attention to one deck and make it perfect. Sure, i can run cards to destroy my local goat players, but that deck does not work for Jimmy who is trying to netdeck it for GFC 10 or me trying to play it there. So my mind is kind of bending into 2 different paths right now. Your deck is a modern take on anti meta warriors and i love it. I would highly recommend you try Mataza the Zapper 1300 warrior, that can attack twice and can't be snatched, mind/brain controlled and can't be sucked with thousand-eyes. Almost a searchable Asura priest, great for clearing goat tokens and direct damage. I was happy to see him pop up in a deck that took 2nd place at the GFC 9

Never seen anyone use Blindly Loyal Goblin, it's a cute counter to Snatch and Creature Swap

Maybe the online meta is different, but I don't think you need to worry about Tsuk so much. Changing Mummy to Kycoo is an easy change imo. Chaos is king right now and even Chaos decks are starting to run 2-3 Kycoo. Mummy is a vanilla most of the time. Skilled Dark Magician is better stat-wise and in most situations. What are you running Sinister Serpent for? Yeah, you can add it to your hand, but you aren't running any cards that benefit from it like Meta, Creature Swap, Raigeki Break, etc... It is partial protection vs Duo and then can be used with Graceful and that's it. It seems to be against what your deck is trying to do with rushing down your opponent. Lastly, 3 Mind Controls seems like overkill. If you hit Mystic Tomato, Sangan, Serpent, Spy, or many other cards, you go -1. I don't see it being as useful in the current online format. This was made several months ago which I believe was more flip oriented, so maybe you've changed it since then or maybe your locals run lots of flips. Cool deck overall! I've seen some variants of it but this is one of the most aggressive variations. Love the content!

I have a question about what you said with the dust tornado and jar of greed, if you have a tornado set and a jar in hand, why not just set the jar on your turn instead of waiting to set it with tornados effect?

In that moment I think I was thinking you dust their dust, they chain dust, you chain jar, and set the other jar. I also sometimes will space my jars just to make people think I have more protection set than I actually do if they have set a lot as well. I hope this clarifies!

The Duo argument is legit. Earlier today, someone Duo'd me and hit the dark in my hand. I was playing a Blue-Eyes turbo, so I discarded a light and dropped the BLS in my hand. They scooped immediately. Duo is great against non-meta decks, but apparently it's not great against non-meta decks who have light and dark and are just running a BLS because it fits. I do still like Card Destruction because it kills all cards in the hand. As soon as I see a light or a dark or both in my opponent's grave, I hit that Card Destruction just to get that BLS or Chaos Sorcerers out of the hand. Long live GOAT!

Hey did U know if U use Creature Swap on Blindly Loyal Goblin It's doesn't switch position. but the monster your opponent chooses must be switched.

Just looked up the ruling: if the only monster you control is Blindly Loyal Goblin, then neither player can activate creature swap. If you have another monster, you're forced to select that target.

You should probably drop sangan and serpent too, since they serve almost no purpose. Serpent is just duo proofing, but nothing else. Sangan doesnt search too much and will sit in your hand as you prefer to drop beat sticks. You should consider necrovalley, seeing as how you run no revival anyway and it keeps chaos from bringing out the sorcs.

idk why, but there is a very large sum of people that believe that good players never set just 1 backrow. To that I say yes, but actually no... as good players only set more than 1 backrow under 2 circumstances. The first is they have a solemn judgment, cursed seal, magic jammer, etc. and they want to bait out your heavy and negate it. The second is at least one of their backrow is chainable. So when u activate heavy storm they just chain jar, raigeki break, etc. and u just go 1 for 1. Heavy storm is still a good card and it warps the way people play the game, but it is the most situational of the 1 of power spells in goat format.

looks like a cool deck, but I just cannot justify dropping delinquent duo. I can understand cutting heavy and TT, if the opponent only sets one back row at a time, then dust tornado is better, and TT gets kinda awkward when your whole goal is to always have a monster attacking

This entire deck is an over reaction. 3 mind control is way too much when you have 5 flip killers already and regenerating mummy is a vanilla with a partial out to one card. Blindly loyal is decent but I wouldn't play more than 2, it is good against snatch and ter but thats it, if you're just scared of Tsukuyomi then assailant is better. Anti-meta already has a good match vs goat control, you need at least 2 kycoo in the main for the chaos matchup, not more tech against goat.
