Band 5 nurse salary uk 37.5hrs week (£28,407 per annum) From 1st April 2023 (with the 5% NHS pay rise offered), the annual salary for a Band 5 on the 1st pay point will be £28,407. This is £2,367.25 a month before deductions. A person on this NHS pay point will pay £131.93 a month of National Insurance, £208.32 a month NHS Pension contributions and £222.29 a month Tax. This makes their net (take home) pay £1,804.72 a month.

@@justinantony5679 I know many Nurses who works in NHS since 2005.Apart from few, majority are still healthy & 😊 happy. Again it depends upon many factors bro. Each profession has it own pros & cons. None force anyone to work in NHS. Doors are open for exit/entry. UK - A country opened the door with free recruitment for Qualified Nurses and many make use of it from positve point of view, which in turn was a turning point in their life. 💐 For stress, there is a stress management team within NHS to give proper advise and guidance to those who need it.
