Folding the individual fronts is a great tip, thank you. I remember having trouble bending the petioles to the center, I believe they were twice as thick as they are in your video, but that palm was also larger.

@@GreenDragan I moved to another house 2 years ago. I had taken care of a Washingtonia robusta for 5 years, and it had grown to a decent size, so I dug it up and planted it in my new garden. Unfortunately, it didn't survive the transition. I have another one growing in a pot, and perhaps I'll plant it out again. I remember it being a lot of work every winter, so I'm a bit reluctant, but in the summer, it really paid off so who knows. Good luck with your garden-really cool what you've accomplished!
