I've been fascinated with this restoration. This is my favorite era for the Ranger, my favorite color and configuration. So, while I obviously don't have the emotional connection to the truck that you do, I've found it really satisfying and nostalgic seeing a Ranger of this era brought back to "like new" condition. I'm going to miss seeing your progress when it's finally done. I know for a lot of people this is probably a mundane restoration for what was a common vehicle back in the day, but please know there are many of us who have enjoyed the journey immensely. Well done!

Hi Sarah! Gosh you have arrived at the closing moments of your labor of love. What a journey you have shared with us💕💕💕

I am always amazed by your work Sarah. Not an episode goes by that I don't exclaim "wow" and what you are doing. And, like...who does this with a Ford Ranger? Someone who values the emotional connect we have with our cars. Doesn't matter what it is...car people love cars (trucks). And you validate all of us who spend too much time and too much money working on cars others think are "junk". Thank you for everything you do Sarah. And also...that Ranger is FIRE! I'd argue better than factory.

Highly highly recommend using the ranger station method on setting the toe for the front end! I use 4 foot levels with the same size spacers lightly clamped to the outside of the wheels and two identical tape measures. The slipper plate under one tire with a spacer of the same height under the other tire is key.

When I was in high school, the proctor for my SAT test prep explained to us that a perfect score was set so high because it was a test designed to see what we could do. You wouldn’t have a jump test at 8’ high because a lot of people could touch that, you set it at 15’ to see how high you could go, not who could get a perfect jump. You, our internet friend, are that standard for vehicle details and doing everything the right way.
