This video saved me, been looking for tires for a week and the only 37 i could come up with for a 15" wheel was a super swamper, but I wanted better road manners and wear than that. Thanks for making this video!

38.5x11x15 Super Swamper Bogger weighs in at 71 lbs. I run them on my 93 4 runner. Bias ply. With cheap steel wheels it was $3700 for 4 new tires and 4 new cheap steel wheels. I could have bought another truck for that price no joke. But man do they perform. And I love how quite they are creeping down a trail. But get ready to pick huge rocks out of the tread when getting back on the road.

Thanks for the great review. I'm putting these on my Wrangler and I feel that you've done a wonderful job covering the pros and cons of this tire. That's an awesome truck too! I hope to see you on the trails one day.

My first impression of them was a couple years ago when a 4runner I bought came with 35x12.5, they were near bald and impressed me enough back then to want to look into them for the Yeti. Glad you're happy with them!

Love the content. I'm picking up some 37 km2's soon and just checked that they weigh in at 74lbs each. It would be interesting to see how the two compare. I've had a smaller set prior and they are an amazing tire off road.
@ToyotaWorldRunners3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Brandon. Nice one! I've had the km2's before, good tire. Not quite as much siping as I'd like for the snow, but they've got beefy lugs! Also they don't make 'em for 15" rim, like so many others 😢 I'm guessing 74 lbs is for a 17" rim?

Great review. I should be needing tires for my ranch rocket soon. I am thinking maxxis creepy crawlers or something or the interco tsl/bogger f/r combo.
@ToyotaWorldRunners3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I looked closely at the creepy crawler as I could get them new for a really good deal, but ultimately a 90lbs+ tire was gunna be too heavy for my axles and 4 cylinder 22re. Good option for a bias ply tire though!

@@ToyotaWorldRunners i never considered weight before. My truck rarely sees public roads or gets above 35 miles an hour to be honest. I am after maximum grip
@D.M.Designs Жыл бұрын
Such an Under-rated tire. People worry about street manners too much in a rig that gets used properly. Anything will roll down the road. I currently run bias Maxxis Creepy Crawlers but they are disintegrating before tread is wore down. The rubber has also got really hard and need to be lit up too much in cold wet rocks. These are my next tires.
@clayton2032 жыл бұрын
Lucky as heck on the price, and yea you need a spare of comparable height, I wouldn’t go with nothing less than 36 inches, I don’t know what a 37 and a 35 on the back would do to the rear end, even if it was open , still may screw something up,
@Devin_Stromgren2 жыл бұрын
Actually the bands in a bias ply are nylon rather than steel like a radial.

I cannot seem. To find a 37 on 15s in bc Have to go 16. Are rhey available in bc Canada. ??.i live in quesnel Canadian tire says no, happy tire a local 4x4 tire shop said the same thing am i missing something , ? I own an 86 four runner on 37s almost worn out , good years .on 15s looking for more . These sound great.
@ToyotaWorldRunners3 жыл бұрын
They are super hard to find. There's only a few tire companies left that make them, and even fewer in a radial. Pitbull rockers (but I heard the 15s were discontinued, not sure) and Interco TrXus, not sure what else in radial, and bias ply your looking at the same plus the maxxis treps and creepy crawlers. Good luck!

Hey bro, I know you mentioned it’s a daily driver for these tires, and I know you mentioned you driven in snow, my question is how good are these on highway roads that are icy? Reason I’m asking cause I drive my JK to Colorado from Texas in March and it snows around that time still and my irok radials were sliding on the icy roads had to use 4wd high, what’s your experience on them in icy roads? I wanna buy the 38s in these if they’re good for icy road conditions.

Have you had any issues with the sidewalls? I ordered these exact same tires for my jeep. They don't weigh much more than my 35" mtrs. However they are only 2 ply sidewall... I'm worried about sidewall blow outs.
@ToyotaWorldRunners2 жыл бұрын
I've had great luck so far, all have remained in tact, free of any holes or plugs. The light weight does come at the compromise of 2 ply sidewalls, however I've had them in some pretty rough slash piles and shale rock without issue. My cooper STT pros I blew 2 sidewalls in.
@lol1233211233212 жыл бұрын
@@ToyotaWorldRunners interesting! I also ran 35" Cooper stt pros. From New to almost bald. I hot knifed them at 50% tread and they worked fantastic in the snow. They aired down much better than my Goodyear mtr/ kevlars. Thanks for the reply
