You asked what's the point of opened ear clip on earbuds? Well, I prefer LOUD open ear clip on earbuds due to having glasses and a hearing problem. The over ear ones get in the way of my glasses and hurt my ears. Bone conductors aren't loud enough, over ear ones hurt, so clip ons are best.

As someone who also wears glasses I know the pain of finding a pair of headphones that are comfortable whilst wearing glasses. Clip-ons are definitely an option, and there's some great ones coming out now.

I don't really care about perfect sound so I am a bad person to ask, but for the comfort difference alone I would take the SoundCore every day and twice on Sunday. The Bose HURT. Are they bad sound? No. Are they as good as Bose? Maybe.
