I love the Rhythm, one of those good fairways to easy get up to 400 feet!

Dang 400 ft with a 7 spd fairway? That's nuts. How long have you been playing? I just started and I can barely reach 320 if i absolutely crush it with a distance driver.

Neutron with a dome!? Inconceivable! Great video, great disc! I've got a fission rhythm and it flies fantastically and has a nice little dome to it. Great for hyzer flips and turn overs. It definitely resists rolling as it pans out on turn over lines. I'm a fan

These numbers are really fun. The Discraft ESP Sting is one of my favorites to throw. The Sting on forehand is great for a full flight turn shot.
@RustySeatbelt7 ай бұрын
Another example of how flight numbers must be looked at as a whole, as isolating any number (especially the -2 turn) will lead to misunderstanding. The cooling difference between Neutron & Fission plastics practically makes these two different discs.

Wow I didnt realize how different the profiles were on neutron vs fission. I lost my crave and ordered a rythym to maybe replace it. Well i found my crave the day my rythym came in the mail but thats good because the crave is still my favorite forehand disc with the flat top but I love the fission rythym for those backhand hyzer flip shots

One reason I try to get discs in as many plastics as possible. Always a lot of variance.

@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf Thanks man, I was deciding on a fairway driver and found your video. I ended up getting a Rhythm and a Glow Essence. I will say at 85% arm speed the glow Essence is an amazing hyzer-flip/late turn disc.
@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf6 ай бұрын
@@GampoEC just finishing up the Essence Review and I agree about the glow Essence. Out of the box they fly with low torque resistance in the early flight, great for flip ups or S Curve shots.

Do the Crave and Rhythm feel different somehow? Seems like they're nearly the same disc.
@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf6 ай бұрын
The feel of both are generally different. The Crave has a slightly blunter nose, Rhythm slightly sharper. Also Crave has a higher and more rounded shoulder, while Rhythm tend to be slightly slimmer/shallower. I also feel the Crave is more forgiving at lower speeds. Like if you get a very similar flight at 75% as you would at full, just not going as far. The Rhythm, I have to rip at full to get the desired flight. If I don’t get the best pull and only toss it at 75%, then instead of a little turn with a hyzer finish, it just hyzers out right away. But that also means the Rhythm works better at higher speeds with more torque, so it does better with forehands. Some Craves can handle forehand as well, but only one I have found reliability is the Plasma Crave.

Yes

doesn't matter with MVP/axiom, they're insanely inconsistent and every disc is a dice roll. craves in the same plastic from the same run range from +1/4 to -4/1.
@bsmithhammer7 ай бұрын
@@derpderpin1568 That hasn't been my experience at all. In fact, I find MVP more consistent than many other brands.

One of my mvp shocks is stable / understable… rest are meathooks… so quite a wide variation even with the Same plastic! Well the colour of the plastic is different so they are not from Same print run…
@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf6 ай бұрын
I personally can get more shot variety out of the Crave. But that is between 4+ different plastic types/runs.
