I wish people would stop complaining about outside noise. Obviously open ear is not noise cancelling.

These type of open earphones are very good especially if you like comfy and running
@jsbedi6 ай бұрын
Due to my silicone allergy, regular in-ear earbuds are not an option, so I've been searching for an open-ear alternative. I decided to try this particular model designed for open-ear use or at least ear buds. This is one of product I buy After a week of testing, here's what I found: the main downside is discomfort from prolonged use (over an hour) if they're worn too tightly. The microphone quality is average, and unlike other Anker products, these lack noise-canceling capabilities. On the upside, they're quite comfortable when not worn too snugly, although there is some loss in sound quality. The volume is robust, even in loud settings, and the sound quality exceeds my expectations. It's crucial to note that these headphones are designed to keep you aware of your surroundings rather than provide complete sound isolation like in-ear models, so the sound quality isn't directly comparable. A small complaint is that the touch controls could be more user-friendly; they require two or three fingers to prevent accidental repositioning of the headphones. It's important to position the buds correctly; otherwise, the sound quality and volume suffer, leading to a negative experience. However, once you get used to this buds, you might find the other open-ear less satisfactory. I disagree with the reviewer about the volume of the C30i; it is quite adequate for public transportation when set between 60-70% volume, assuming it is positioned correctly in the ear. I understand the issue when I revisit your video and observe the position in which you placed the buds. Update 18 May 2024: After upgrade to the new firmware that allow you to custom your EQ, It's like a new pairs of buds, the sound quality is significantly increase. Currently it be my new favourite.

Did you find the bass was much better after the update?
@jsbedi5 ай бұрын
@@ConradMurkitt Yes, the bass has significantly improved. Now, it functions like a hybrid of earbuds and in-ear headphones. However, you must ensure that the buds are correctly positioned near the ear canal for optimal performance. But have to remind that this is open earbuds.

@@jsbedi thanks for taking the time to reply. I might pick these up then as I currently have AirPods 3 but would like something like the C30i but I do like the bass on the AP3.
@jsbedi5 ай бұрын
@@ConradMurkitt I still rely that in ear and earbuds should better bass but this C30 is not bad even it not as good as in ear. This one the driver is 12x17 mm that quite big. So it not far different for me.

How is the wind noise and positioning once you get sweaty?

the latency is ok because from 3rd person view the character shooting is about 100 meters away from the camera which means 300ms latency due to sound speed is about accurate

Me personally i can't rock the rigid style, i don't understand why no one has imitated the design of the bose ultras open earbuds with the flexibility of the silicone and the push button, until the other brands get rid of that rigid loop Bose are top dawgs right now for me because comfort is king with me.
@SeanTalksTech6 ай бұрын
Good perspective, I think it does limit usage and comfort especially if you have bigger ears. Perhaps it’s a patent thing? I’m not sure. 😅

I have the Huawei Freeclips and the C30i. the freeclips are way more comfortable than these and sound clearer as well. Yes they are 3-4 times the cost but sometimes you get what you pay for. I returned the Bose bc of the mics. They suck bad for phone calls. The freeclips are amazing. Im with you, i hope someone comes up with an extremely comfortable clip style similar to Bose with a physical button. Looking at Tozo to be the one.

how is the volume compared with aerofit pro ?
@SeanTalksTech6 ай бұрын
Hello. The aerofit pro is louder from my test 😄
@jsbedi6 ай бұрын
@@SeanTalksTech My experience differs from yours. I find the Aerofit Pro nearly inaudible on public transport, even at maximum volume. In contrast, another model at 60% volume is louder and usable under any condition. Despite Aerofit Pro being the most expensive in my open-ear collection, I use it the least due to its insufficiently low volume.

Will the clear plastic change color over time?
@gambitgambino15606 ай бұрын
Off course
@jonathanmsmith5 ай бұрын
All plastics yellow over time, but usually it’s the more flexible plastics that change dramatically. Clear phone cases are the easy example: the flexible (usually TPU) sides usually start to yellow after a few months, while the rigid back panel takes years.
