Engineer, thank you very much for these videos, they are very helpful. I have a question, I hope you can help me a little more. I did the entire adjustment protocol, the cut was perfect but the coagulation remained the same with a misalignment below the maximum allowed error. What can I do to better adjust the coagulation parameter? Thank you very much.

I have the error 16 and already read the service manual but doesn't have the transformer or inductive resistors. I have the fluke 454A but doesn't have the 30 ohms resistant option, with 100 and 500 would be enough? The error 16 starts when put on the plate on the patient. Also read on a forum that could be "Scaling relays in the control board", how can I probe them? I doesn't have another Force Fx. Some days ago I made the REM calibration because the equipment was showing green REM alarm when plug in the plate even without patient. Also the trouble that made the hospital call me was that the equipment wasn't turning on right, it had a problem in the initial test. When the lights were on bipolar it started as usual but were restarting the autotest when passing trough cut. Should I try to fix It or is better just change the equipment with all that issues? Appreciate any help

How often does the calibration has to be done to the equipment?

Every 6 months we do an output verification. If the results are within tolerance, we won't calibrate anything

Great video sir. If have not electro surgical analizer (ESA) then possible to calibrate or not esu unit, if can calibrate which tools are required plz help.

If you have no electrosurgical analyzer it is almost impossible to reliably calibrate or verify function of ESUs..

Could you possibly help me out ? I had one of these in today, no rf output on coag - spray or fulgurate but desiccate works perfectly. There is no error codes on boot up & all functions of cut work perfectly. Any ideas & where possibly to look ? & what might have failed ? If not I’ll have to get Medtronic to take a look at it.

It's no longer supported so the OEM will not assist. Try a different front control panel.

This device is still supported by Medtronic in the uk ! I’m just in the process of getting it shipped back for assessment & repair.

I had a very similar fault and it was the 6 pole relay on the main board. Really easy job to change.

Yes you can calibrate without my adapter. I will have to see my unit at work to deteine the easiest configuration for you.
