What was super eerie is that when she was killed, my sister lived on the same street, they both jogged in the same park, both were built the same way, and almost the same age. My sister is also fair with dark wavy hair. There were so many coincidences and it was honestly scary for us.

whenever there is a case like this that's pretty much become such and iconic story like jonbenet ramsey or like this one I feel like the people in charge don't want this case solved not just because of a "cover up" if there is one but because its so icon and gets speculated on all the time from movies and documentaries that if its solved all that goes away from marketing it as "unsolved". I don't know just something I've noticed. People get so invested in speculating that they almost forget this isn't just a crime novel or "entertainment" someone was actually harmed

Guarantee you will scream when you get to the twist, and the very ending is truly the saddest thing I’ve ever heard. This case shaped me and every girl in my town spent time looking over their shoulders and distrusting everyone for a good while after it happened. We were all warned not to go anywhere alone, and I still have nightmares.

Good job ! A better summation of the case than most media accounts. Been following Chandra's disappearance since May 2001 and it was my real introduction to the capabilities of the internet. One of the original members of JFC and a few other online boards at the time. Two points to consider: Rock Creek Park was the dump site; a secondary scene; and Condit had so much going for himself in May of 2001 he would never consider doing something heinous to jeopardize his rising star in politics. He was even looked at as a future Presidential candidate. Also, Chandra was probably undergoing background checks at this point for positions at the CIA and other alphabeticals. FBI probably knew about the Condit affair. Condit probably knew this and would not have wanted to stir anything up. So much more. I don't think Condit or Guandique had anything to do with this. Its still a perplexing unsolved mystery.

Love your videos! When I enjoy crue trime vids or just true crime in general I don’t enjoy the story. It’s absolutely devastating all of the time. But the personality touch you add as well as Bailey and Kendall I just love hearing you guys tell a story and I’m very into this area of discovery and investigation as well. Me too! Just found the channel & I'm loving it! It's kind of strange to hear about cases in an area I'm familiar with although to be fair I never heard it referred to as the DMV until relatively recently & I've lived here my whole life. Guess I've been living under a rock or something. I still get DMV confused with Delmarva & need a minute to go "ohhhh yeah they're 2 different things" 😂👩🏼‍🦰
