Very good! Thanks guys :) Wondering if I can use a stainless scrubbie instead of brass for wiping the iron tip?

Yes you can but the brass works better. We keep stainless around for scrubbing zinc to take patina.

Is your guest suggesting to solder completely around each little piece of copper foiled glass, before soldering the pieces to each other to create your panel?

I think she was, but she's new and self taught so we'll be discussing techniques that we recommend as class continues.
