She never lied...It always feels good when you slip and do it! She had another groove called "Let Me Be Your Love Maker" pure SOUL. She is a soul treasure!

Betty Wright has always been one of the greatest singers - especially in her early days.

There is no other like sister Betty Wright; when I moved to DC from Pittsburgh, Pa. I saw some great performer that did not tour Pgh, PA. Let me let you know Betty Wright has always put on a great show. She and Patty Labelle, always put on a one hell of a great show and my boy Prince on the stage for two hours or more one of the best.. Betty just gets better with time. I love you sister...

This one one of the HYPEST eps IMO...the whole episode was good...and the Gang was so pumped during Betty's performances....which made her even more pumped.

AO brilliant I love her. I like this presenter too, he's cropped up a lot in searches. A very cool dignified man.

Indeed. That's Don Cornelius. He was the epitome of cool when I first started watching The Soul Train on TV back in elementary school circa early 1980s.

Sure has that mid'70's Miami sound. Betty recorded better material, but she's so talented and cute that it works on this post.
