I totally agree. It’s so wild to think of all the R&B groups from the 70’s that was around, and they all had their own significant sound. Today R&B is totally dead. It’s criminal that rapp ( crapp) art form ( I just can not bring myself to call this stuff music) is the main stream music in the black community today. But R&B music from the 60’s-80’s is timeless because it’s sooooo gooood. Peace out.✌️

Good music never dies, the ones who lived in that era die. But they leave us a very special and meaningful music. I can be having the worst day but when I listen to music like this, it all goes away. I finding it therapeutic.

Hey RLW, some young kids DO know what real music is, believe me..I'm 26, but I knew about the Temprees when I was in Elementary School. You can't always blame the young..I believe that it's up to parents to teach kids about real music, love, and history. I'm just so thankful that my daddy was on the job!

I played them watching my 2 daughter's grow up, and they song them, i am still playing them i have a son 19 and he too needs to feel good music in his heart and listen to the lyrics, because music today is not the same!

LOL. We were country as hail at Florida A&M University but we knew what a "Love's Maze" was. Yes sirree! These guys had all of us guys in Memphis trying to emulate that sound. The songs from that era were anthems as well as classics. You could get your mack on with the ladies with these slow jams. "Caught up, in Love's Maze, hey, baby, yeah , yeah..."

God Damn. Humph! Almost all vids on the Temprees have comments turned off. I just want to say not only are they an incredible R&B group, the cover songs they did were actually unique among other top talents of the time. The Temprees would slow songs, lengthen hard stresses, and shift the whole pop of the song. I don't know why they did this, maybe just to make their version unique, but the effect was incredible and almost like a whole new song! When the Temprees cover a jam, you really get that biz in a new and interesting way.
