The portrayal of how cops used to be. When cops were respected by the law abiding citizens especially the young nowadays unlike Generation Z (Born 1995-2009) Generation Alpha (Born 2010-2024) Generation Beta (Born 2025-2039) No respect from the younger generations, the woke movement, the world has gone to hell in a basket. Watch Edmund O'Brien's portrayal of Casca in "Julius Caesar" (1953). I've seen many renditions of Julius Caesar (in film and on the stage). In my opinion, Edmund O'Brien's acting was the best. - Better than Brando, Gielgud, Mason, Olivier. As an Englishman, It's hard to admit that an American nailed Shakespeare better than anyone else.
@jerseymike79468 күн бұрын
Good flick. At the 1:16:22 mark, the shot of squad cars leaving the police station I recognized instantly, it was repeatedly used in episodes of Superman. Studios would sell such footage to the smaller studios and/or TV productions. Warner Brothers used for years and years scenes from it's big budget Errol Flynn Westerns in TV series such as Maverick, Cheyenne. 90 percent of the time, if Maverick or whomever was entering a town, it was the shot of Virginia City from the Flynn film by that name. The exterior shots of the Warner Brothers cavalry fort from that era, along with shots of Indians attacking it, was used over and over in it's Western TV shows. Later "F Troop" filmed in it, used the old footage as well.
