@@ImNotCrazyImInsane Maybe from the moon's 33 year cycle. This cycle is based on the Earth's orbit around the sun and the moon's orbit around the Earth. After 33 years, the lunar calendar and the solar calendar will both contain the same dates on the same day. September 8th is the birthday of Mary, in 2040, it will be the first sight of the new moon, the day the Moon and the rest of the visible planets align with the hand star Spica in Virgo. Sept. 8, 2040, when five naked-eye planets including Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will align in the sky and the crescent moon will be positioned between Venus and Saturn, the Sun is located at the (right) back foot of Leo. Move the Sun back 9 months, you find it next to the right foot of Ophiuchus, between Scorpio and Sagittarius, part of the Golden Gate of the Gods, in astrology, Sagittarius is the hips and thighs, Scorpio is the sexual organ, squeezed in between them is the Womb, Ophiuchus, whose 7 main stars form the shape of a door, pyramidal on top. The 3 stars at the top form a cross with Antares, the heart of the Scorpion, flip the cross, Antares is replaced by Vega, the She Goat star, the Goddess Bau-Gula, the mother of the healing god of rebirth, Damu "The Child". Bau was known as Baba, the wife of Zababa, seen as the Right leg of Ophiuchus. Bau-Gula was the wife of Pabilsag, who we call Sagittarius, seen as the father of Damu. The way biology works, at the end of the 3rd week of the 40 day embryonic stage, the heart of the fetus takes it's first beat, right around Christmas day, First breath is around the first week of September. Spica in Virgo is associated with the grain goddess Nisaba, wife of Haya, the Door-Keeper, known as the god of Scribes. He hides in the seed of Orion, found on his Right thigh, the star Hatysa, in Hebrew, 'yasa' means Savior, 'hata' means "to sin", Hatysa meaning "Savior of Sinners". The Seed of Orion is held in the Seed Cup shape of Draco's head, part of the heavenly plow, Draco was seen as the Hippo goddess with Lion legs wearing crocodiles skin, the goddess of Rebirth Taweret, the wife of Seth, the 7 stars of the Big Dipper, known as the Thigh of the Bull's Leg, part of Ursa major, which has a Right foot too, the twin stars Alula, meaning "First Born", when it is at midheaven, yo find Hatysa sitting on the western horizon, it takes Alula 7 hours to fall from mid heaven to the horizon, replaced at mid heaven by Vega. Hatysa is the bright star at the tip of Orion's Sword, which was cut off by Horus, when Taweret, "Mistress of the Horizon" held him down, it fell to the foot of Orion, but seen as a Rooster, not the Rabbit Lepus, but all 3 have some thing in common, they like to make babies. Horus picked it up, now holds it above his head, pointing to the Sun on the day of the Summer Solstice, in the center of the Silver gate of Man, between Gemini and Taurus. Note the time Alula is at mid heaven in September, going back 9 months using the same time, Alula is not found at mid heaven, Vega is, you have to add 7 hours to the time to place Alula back at mid heaven. 9 Months 1 Day 7 Hours equals 6,606 hours. 7 are the stars that outline Orion's hourglass shape, 7 outline Ophiuchus's Door, north of the Gold and Silver gates is the 7 stars of the Big Dipper. Play the words "Say There Is A Guest" in reverse, you hear it echo "Sagittarius", do the same with "They All Rule', it echoes "Orion".

I had a beautiful pet rabbit that I found while looking a the full moon in September, which i learned is sacred to a Chinese moon goddess and her rabbit! I named my magical bunny Yutu, after Chang-e' rabbit who she took with her as a companion when she floated to the moon. Her rabbit mixes the elixer of immortality w a morter & pestle, mine filled me with joy when i saw her, she was white w grey-blue spots like lunar markings on her body & around her eyes. She was a rex rabbit w the softest fur, never solved the mystery of where she came from so I considered her a gift from the moon. 🐇🌙

This tradition possibly survives in the Buddhist story of Sakra (Indra) marking the moon with the image of the rabbit that sacrificed itself to feed him when he was disguised as an old man.

It seems odd that you didn't cover the obvious Norse variants of these stories. The story of Hjuki and Bil come to mind, borne up to the moon with the pole whereby they bore holy mead, with its suggestive reflection in the story of Jack and Jill. Further, Viktor Rydberg postulated that the elf Ivaldi was bound to the moon as a punishment for the crime of stealing the daughter of the moon God, perhaps remembered in the stories told in the Anglo-Saxon Waldere as well as Waltharius Manufortis.

6:09 Absolutely! I've read that the pink band in the sky around dawn and dusk is called the Belt of Venus, as it will often be first visible in this band and is related to the mythology of her girdle. I hadn't recognize the prison aspects of lunar mythology, which seem to be similarly informed by what is naturally observable about the moon; that is close enough to see its features yet far enough to be eternally remote from us and can be seen while the world is illuminated, as if to remind its captive that the world is yet there. That's my conjecture of course but you can see how one might get there. You should check out Local 58; one could view it as a modern extension of the mythology with its prisoner escaping. You'd have a pretty interesting take on analog horror, in general, I reckon but that's not really what we're doing here.

It's so interesting, in Northwest Germany we have rather unknown local tales about how a man wanted to steal kale from the soil in moonlit nights and being send to the moon and captured there as a punishment. Still being seen there with the bundle of kale in his hand. In another version he isn't being kept there but sees the moons reflection in a lake as he tries to steal the kale and then starts to draw water out of the moons reflection thinking it's the real moon in the sky then having to do it to this day. There's also connections to moonlit nights where a hunter kills a rabbit in a kale field during the time where it's forbidden to hunt and on top of that also unknowingly killing a witch, who is then demanded back by her witch friends, also disguising as rabbits. They tell him he'd be punished if he wont bring her back to life, following her resurrection by three taps on the soil and her back by the hunter. All under the light of the moon.

Also there is a Brer Rabbit tale about the moon and one about who the moon changes in the sky

Pan Twardowski, at least in versions I know, was alchemist, probably mage or scholar and nobleman. There are many versions, some of them serious, others humorous (e.g. ‘Pani Twardowska’ by Mickiewicz, the most famous Polish poet): many of them feature the ways in which Pan Twardowski avoided fulfilling his part of the pact (i.e. giving up his soul to the devil)-the most famous being that he was to give up his soul in Rome (of course, he did not intend to go to Rome but the devil caught him in an inn called Rome). The most famous one is that he was supposed to give up his soul in Rome (of course, he did not intend to go to Rome, but the devil caught him in an inn called "Rome"), but, when the devils were already kidnapping him to hell, he started to recite prayers/invocations to the Virgin Mary, so the devils dropped him on the moon and to this day, according to this legend (16th-17th century, most likely, judging by the fact that Twardowski is depicted as a nobleman from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, including his sabre and kontusz) he remains there. I don't know if this legend has a older roots- well, stories about deals with the devil used to be quite popular in whole Europe, I know at least ten better or lesser known legends about someone, who is trying to outsmart the devil in Poland alone!- because it kinda new (like, four centuries isn't much).

The Hartley mammoth site excavated on celebrated paleontologist Tim Rowe's property in New Mexico is securely dated to 37kya interestingly lacks flaked stone tools but shows copious bone tools. Genetic evidence currently promoted seems to suggest no remaining heritage from those people. Their dying out continent-wide seems unlikely unless, as occurred later, newcomers brought with them devastating diseases. We should also be on the lookout for people, even that far back, migrating from North America back into Asia, such as the later Ket (who washed 6000 miles across Asia!) seem to evidence.
