I would have asked for my money back. No excuse with ' We have not got it'. Why put the Christmas menu on the table if they haven't got anything to serve. Disgraceful. What a COMPLETE let down . I agree there's a level of consumer service that outlets will try to blur & its down to the customer to enforce. I was a contractor working at another pub chain venue & overheard an elderly couple be led to a table, allowed time to look at the menu, & then be told there were No potato products available due to late delivery, all they wanted was a lunch including some chips & they rightously departed.

When I lived in Derby, we used to go in the Standing Order, on girlie nights out. I was never a fan, tbh. The building is lovely, but the high ceiling and lack of music, makes everyone's voices echoey, so it is really noisy.

Lloyds No.1 bars originally were a small handful of 'Spoons with music and aimed more at the younger crowd with DJ's and open later. They were bought from Wolverhampton and Dudley brewery about 20 odd years ago. They used to be called just "Lloyds No.1" but now they have had a pub name added to that title.

Hell No!... That looked bloody disgusting Ang & Lee... What on earth is happening to Wetherspoons lately... The tiny Burger you had in Leeds City Centre recently had stale Burger Buns too!... Are Wetherspoons only buying almost out of date Buns these days or what?... And as for the member of staff with the attitude problem slamming down Angie's Pigs in Blankets... That person needs to readjust their attitude real quick or resign... If a paying customer has paid for various items that are listed on the menu... Then they should all be on their plate... Like Angie's Pigs in Blankets... If they're missing from your meal... Then you have every right to have those missing items provided and delivered to your table... After all you've paid for them... But having Salad items that are also on the turn... Shows a complete lack of food safety management and responsibility... If food being served to customers isn't fresh... Then how can customers ever trust a company that serves food that should be thrown out and used as Pigswill... Even Angie's Chips weren't cooked thoroughly enough... I know you don't like complaining Lee... But if nobody ever complains and makes a fuss... Then they'll just keep doing the same thing... Because they'll believe in their own eyes that they've actually done a good enough job... When in reality they've messed up big time... And will have probably ruined a meal out for paying customers... Sorry but 0/10 is all it deserves guys... 🤮 Yuk!.

I’ve stayed at 2 Premier Inns in the last few months and half the choices on the menu were out of stock with that same excuse but later overheard a manager telling a chef to up his game to get stock ordered when they was getting low. Went to my local Spoons today to try the Christmas dinner. They didn’t have it. So ordered the chicken, stuffing, bacon and cranberry panini. After I’d order and paid on the app they came over to say they didn’t have it. Got the Brie and cranberry panini. Partner want the Christmas dinner, ended up getting chicken korma with garlic nan. His dish was awful, the nan had a pool of oil on it. The rice was burnt, the chicken was rubbery and the sauce just tasted too buttery. Mine was okay, although the bread was a bit chewy! And it was not what I wanted. Usually the food is much better. Will be a while before we go back, like you we didn’t eat our meals. Other half said his dish was a 1 for the Pepsi. I’d probably say 4.5 for mine.

As your a frequent visitor to Wetherspoons I'm thinking the Blonde Angel should perhaps consider carrying a damp soapy cloth in her handbag to wipe the table when you sit down she could keep it in one of those zip lock plastic bags widely available. Greetings to both of you! I wonder if the app would show what they have available or not as would be easy to update BUT in my opinion, if an item is on the menu, it should be available! Secondly,. I have an idea for your next EV Video, I have always argued that EV fans never talk about the cost of cold weather on EV Batteries SO, can I suggest repeating a journey you have done in the Summer , do it now on a cold, rainy, dull day & let us know how range is affected ! I think it will be interesting.

There is a ram outside the Derbion Shopping Centre, not sure if that's the one you're after. We go there when we visit son at the Uni. Usually get a good meal , breakfast and since it's been refurbished is a way to the loo. Always check the app thar generally shows what's not available then go next door to the Leaper 👍 good to see Ang

Surely when they cleared the table and saw so much left on the plate - didn't they enquire - was everything OK Sir/Madam? - which it clearly was NOT! - a golden opportunity for a REFUND. Honestly Anna... I actually think that the staff here just didn't give a damn anyway... If everything was fine with the customers meals... They probably would have asked the question... But they probably knew full well that they were pumping out this awful slop... That's why any type of customer service was completely absent at this particular Wetherspoons... Why bother asking customers if their food's okay... If it's all disgusting slop anyway... It'll just gives the customer an opportunity to complain to them... But the only way in which Angie & Lee made their feelings perfectly clear... Was by leaving almost everything that they had ordered... Right there on their plates... So that when the table was eventually cleared... It would have been quite apparent to the staff... That the slop they were serving to customers was completely inedible... Whoever is running this particular branch of Wetherspoons... Needs a giant rocket firing up their backside... This place desperately needs a major overhaul of it's staff... Both in front of house... And back in the kitchen too... It's an absolute disgrace.

Hey there MacMaster hope your good,my finance and me went to weatherspoons the other week in Halifax we both got a wrap and a panni each and it came without the salad 🥗 and chips 🍟 but for the same price,plus it was dreadful, cold very sad 😥 looking, again table was dirty,very disappointed 😞,just had to let you know,keep up the good work you do much love from Melissa and Tom xxxx

Think I'll stick with the Greasy Spoons mate , that sausage looked like something my cat would push out 🤣 The one really good thing to come out of this review is I now know to avoid these establishments like the plague. Go find some smaller local businesses and put your money over their counter instead , bet you'll be surprised at how much better-quality food you will get , and better service by the sounds of it.

So, you visit Derby and dont tell me !!! I could have joined you in Wetherspoons, or even given you some other ideas of places to visit. Huh. The Derby Ram statue is in East Street, not far from the old Derby Telegraph office at Northcliffe House. However we also have some Ram statues from the Derby Ram Trail back in 2021 all over the City. As for your comments about Derby County well back in the days of Clough, Taylor and MacKay we had our glory days. Maybe one day we will have the good times again. Shame about your food, but as you said the building is lovely. The Thomas Leaper next door is for sale, perhaps you need to try that before it goes? Up the Rams xx
