Dan can you make a video regarding the use of dielectric as a way to confirm airwaves reflections

Hi Matt! I did previously a little while ago, but i can definitely make another. Thanks for the request.

Will shielded antenna help to block/attenuate airwaves?

It will help, but not remove. The system in this video was shielded.

Thank you for your good content. In practice, many air waves are detected even when using a shielded antenna. In this case, it should be separated by an analysis of the dielectric rate for anomaly.

Thanks for the comment. We have another video detailing this.

Good video. I see this a surprising amount in road surveys, particularly when using air-launched antennas. The amount of times I have seen an airwave from a highway barrier interpreted as a layer interface.....well it isn't that much but it does happen. I have also seen them from highway side vegetation such as trees and hedgerows, in some respects this is more difficult to deal with as they are weaker reflections and do look a lot like deeper layer interfaces.

Thanks Adam! It can definitely be troublesome...especially if you are looking for broad responses from large subsurface objects.
