As a lifetime Tucson resident , I just discovered this national monument about 3 years ago. You are right , it is a gem. Hope you also visited the Chiricahua National Monument while you were in the area. The Echo Canyon trail is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your travel videos.

Bex, your almost in my backyard! 😻I hike and ride Huachuca Mountain Regularly. But I go on Ft. Huachuca it is absolutely fantastic there at Garden Canyon and there is Petroglyphs to see.

I saw I had a bar of power left and thought that would last for 4-5 more shots but obviously only lasted two. LOL. I don't know why I like to run batteries down all the way. I'm going to start swapping earlier.

I was told there is another good hike near the entrance called the windmill hike. I'm hoping to get back and do that hike too. Interesting place to spend a half day if you're in the area. :-)

Oh this was great….just spent two weeks in March in the Texas Canyon near Dragoon. The Amerind Museum has a VRBO house on its campus that was fantastic. Even had our own bird pond,boulders and balanced rocks! This was a new destination for us. Loved it.moons to do. Go drive up Mt Graham over near Safford. Stunningly beautiful. The Cochise Stronghold just down the road is a must. Loved the cranes at the end and the faint image of that long train in the background. Good work.

I really love going into caves, but they seem to be my least watched videos. But I'm still going to keep doing them. LOL. I'm going to try and make at least one video a week throughout the summer. Oh, that might be a interesting topic for a short video. I've been thinking about making a weekly short video like Peter's "two minute Tuesday" but better. Probably be "Three minute Thursday". But it would force me to keep current and I could still do longer videos that I like.

My backpack is all original. Those buckles were all part of the pack. It's a really great pack for day hikes. Holds tons of stuff.

A beautiful area but beware this area is a smuggling route for drugs and humans it can be dangerous! I know because I live nearby always travel with a group or a companion and water and a cell phone. Stay safe and enjoy southeast Arizona.
