Wow Beyoncé's upper belts are incredible for a mezzo-soprano (if anyone thinks she's a soprano, she's not, she's just a high mezzo-soprano)
@mcx930 Жыл бұрын
High mezzo doesn't exist. She's a soprano
@varunravi27 Жыл бұрын
@@mcx930 That is actually untrue. High mezzo-soprano is not an actual vocal type... it's merely a description of her comfort zone. And Beyoncé is very much a mezzo-soprano. People are only looking at her vocals before she was in her 20s. When she was in her early/mid 20s, the change in her voice was quite obvious. No soprano would have as much depth, warmth and richness in their lows as Beyoncé. Natalie Weiss is an example of a soprano with low notes that are as good as Bey's. However, they are not as warm and dark... there is clearly still some brightness to them, even as low as the lower third octave. As for her mid-range, it would actually sound quite dark if she belted. The reason people hear that brightness in Beyoncé's voice when she sings in that register is because she mixes and uses techniques that make her voice sound more bright and piercing. But her mid-belts are actually very full, at least, too full for her to be a soprano. And her head voice is DEFINITELY too round/wide and dark for her to be a soprano. Most sopranos' head voices are far lighter and brighter (only dramatic sopranos have head voices that project as much as Beyoncé's and Bey is not even close to being a dramatic soprano).

I Know About that one But its Sooooo Brief That it sounds Like an Exclamation and it's A little Head Dominant too. But I'm So Proud Of Her Because She Always Sings It Live She never lips it or lower it down I Still Don't Think That We Can Call It A Belt Tho

What's the point not one of those three albums have upper belts and homecoming's vocals are live vocals so I can't add them to this.
