Just learned that Levii's Jeans has a much deeper meaning. In the beginning of Destiny's Childs career no designers would dress Destiny's Child because they were "too curvy". Levi's collaborated with DC and created the low rise denim jeans. Destiny's Child was the face for those jeans. Denim was a huge look for DC in the early 2000s. That's why post says "girl, you don't need designer". She's simply amazing. 🥰

This is her Magnum Opus. Its a genre-shapeshifting masterpiece.

It’s definitely her most experimental work yet

The vocal’s on this album are amazing. On first listen I prefer this over renaissance, and if you know the meaning of blackbird you will understand and appreciate it more.

I like Renaissance more, simple because it’s more repayable because it’s shorter and more cohesive. But I do appreciate the experimentation of Cowboy Carter and I think sonically she branched out more

High point of making rap in the middle of a country album is the fact that black people created it all and she can do whatever she wants she can mix them and she can start her own genre Beyonce is a genre in her own right

I want to say this was an ok reaction I do not believe you really listened completely to all of Beyoncés albums because of you did you would have already known what she was capable of yes this album she did push her self vocally more then any other but she has done some of these styles of previous work so idk if I believe you really sat down and listened to them completely but nun the less not a bad reaction.

You misunderstood what I was saying. Obviously I know Beyoncé is an all time great vocalist. But she was doing weird things and experimenting with her voice here in ways she definitely never has. You cant find another song in her discog with a vocal delivery that’s anything like American Requiem or the straight up opera passage on daughter.
