Jay-Z was down with this, and every other track on “Lemonade,” where she “let him have it.” lol He was even in some of the videos. They made the decision together, that she was gonna talk about the affair on that album. She wouldn’t have went that hard without his approval. They waited until all of their issues were resolved, before releasing it. Beyoncé lets the audience into her business AFTER the fact, not in the middle of a situation or crisis; she’s smart like that. She uses old drama to express herself, while making fans feel like they’re getting exclusive insight into her life. It sells her records, and allows her fans to feel connected at the same time. :)

He talks about their struggles in an interview and about this album. He was there during the whole process and supported her. He heard every song before we did. He said this was a closing of that chapter in their marriage. People clown him but he handled the whole thing with class, understanding and taking full responsibility for his actions. Yes he messed up royally but he knew it and grew from it to become a better person. More men should take notes. Also listen to his album 4:44 it’s his side of things.

Jack you need to react to the entire lemonade visual album to understand it completely💯🙏🏾💘 Its often regarded by critics and fans alike as a sonical and visual masterpiece. Its also recognised as one of the most critically acclaimed album in history, becoming the second highest rated female metacritic album behind her own album homecoming. The album also became thw most awarded album in history, which contains the most awarded solo song in history. This album was so powerful that it is still taught, to this day, in many universities as an educational course due to the album addressing delicate/meaningful subjects like black heritage, racism, the human psychology and infidelity. Its an experience and im really not exaggerating 😭💘🔥💕💯

The whole concept of Lemonade is taking you through a journey of how she dealt with the infidelity, between each song is a poem and a theme such as "apathy", "denial", "forgiveness". Overall the whole of Lemonade is full of different influences and you should really check out each individual song along with the poems for each as they play a huge part of the fluidity of the songs and transitions between the emotions. Another sick reaction though!

You’re gonna have to start at the beginning to get the full scope and understand the impact this album had on all of us when she dropped it. It’s her greatest masterpiece to date. Start with her intro “Pray You Catch Me.” Also this album is just as much about her relationship with Jay Z as it is about her father and the price of generational pain. Especially generational black pain and black feminism/power. There is going to be a few cultural things that you’ll most likely have questions about as Beyonce pulls a lot from her southern roots here, especially her families( her mother’s) Louisiana roots.
