Olympic I've been making request almost every week but yet none have been uploaded it's unfair
@annaive35315 жыл бұрын
@@Olympics Well, there were A LOT of requests to upload Javier Fernandez, Evgenia Medvedeva, Shoma Uno and others since the beginning. And they're Olympic medalists! You really should have upload them right after the Olympics when figure skating was hot and videos would have a lot of attention and views. And not just as part of your "Music Monday", sorry but they deserve better. You uploaded Javi' FS only in December (almost a YEAR later and his skate could of been called something like "made history for Spain" instead of being "Music Monday" honestly). Your site is great but tbh quality of the picture is not and video freezes from time to time which is really sad since it's the only place to watch the Olympics. But most importantly, KZbin is the most accessible platform: easy to watch, to share videos, to watch on a phone, etc. When people want to search or share videos they go to KZbin but they can't find Olympic performances here. And it's really sad for retired skaters since they won't have another chance for a video viewed by many and especially now when KZbin deleted lots of figure skating videos and channels. Also, for some reason the scores and k&c are missing in a few uploads, don't cut it off, please. And... maybe it's time to upgrade quality, close ups look good but the rest is not so much. Sorry, I really love your channel and you're doing a lot for the sport but...

I think you should upload ALL the medalist performances: SP/SD, FS/FD, and Exhibition Gala. Thank you for all the good content but I think that should have been a must since the beginning... Anyway, I'm (still) waiting for Evgenia Medvedeva's FS, pleaaase. Thank you!

I'm french and I support her, but since years I have always the same impression when I see a video : wasted talent. If only she had a real coach (made for her needs)... Who will not let her practice with posture bad habits for example. And it's not just for the moves in general : even for fluidity and jumps, a good posture is necessary. And everytime they give her a basic choreography (while she can do SO MUCH more). Very very sad.
@maemeite61955 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Now I just want to clarify few things. The coaches I had/have are real coaches, please respect their work. You might not see any progress but I did progress. We have been working on skating skills/air position/fluidity in the movement but we had to start from zero to erase all the bad habits I've had for the past 15 years. So yes it's a very fastiduous work. Hopefully you'll be able to appreciate the improvement.

@@maemeite6195 I know for the injury but sorry I will not change my opinion. I SWEAR I SEE THE PROGRESS and I HAVE NOTHING TO BLAME ABOUT YOUR HARD WORK.✋ But I have always and will always think "she has an amazing talent but not the right coaches and the right choreographers yet." That's the point.😔 And I'm a figure skater (I saw/met you in real life and I watch your programs since yeaaars, I see the progress !) so I respect every figure skating coaches on this planet BUT all coaches don't have same method. Sorry when I said "real coach", I mean "the real coach MADE FOR YOU", qui corresponds à tes besoins je veux dire. @Emma881783 жыл бұрын
Also there is nothing wrong with skirts
@super_vampire_princess3 жыл бұрын
@@Emma88178 There actually is something wrong with skirts in competitive sports; it decreases performance. If a skater wants to make their best possible performance, they should wear skin-tight outfits such as trousers. Indeed, skirts - being a useless piece of fabric flapping around - interfere with air resistance meaning that if you wear one, your are less aerodynamic and physically cannot move as fast and smoothly (which is obviously a bad thing for ice skating). The difference is small, but it is still there. In addition, people who wear skirts have the skirt's movement to worry about, especially if they don't wear much underneath. Although this distraction is mainly unconscious, it still exists. Thus, if two equally qualified skaters (of the same gender) do the exact same choreography, if one wears trousers and the other a skirt, the one with a skirt will perform slightly less well simply due to the laws of physics, and the subconscious psychological effect I mentioned above. Depending on the choreography, the difference may be so small that it barely noticeable, but it is still there. In all, if a skater wants to make their best possible performance, they should wear skin-tight outfits such as trousers.

@@MKPiatkowski Lol what? No one gets penalised for wearing a bodysuit. Surya Bonaly had lots of challenges in her career, including outright racism, but bodysuit itself wasn't one of them. Bodysuits are allowed and Mae-Berenice gets penalised for very poor skating skills, not her costume choice.
