The saddest part is when he asks her about her aspiration in life and she answers to be happy, even when she looks absolutely flawless she doesn't feel complete or happy, when you think of it a lot of us grew up not knowing what we want or why were we born in the first place, with no role models, no one to support us or accept our imperfections and make us feel loved, believing in our potentials instead of limiting us and putting us into boxes of what society expects us to be, no one there to perpetuate the concept of dreams or talent or different is ok, different is good, but everyone wanting you to lool a certain way, get a degree at a certain age, find a job, have kids but not later, cuz the clock is ticking, for us women, our every move is followed by criticism, sometimes on things we can't control, it's frustrating and unfair but we are the source of life, beauty, kindness and giving, remember you are loved and appreciated in all forms, sizes, races and genders no matter how you decided to live your life ❤

Victoria Heffly because they basically starve themselves and he is not body shaming! The point is because they make other girls feel like they have to look a certain way and be that thin. They are “what” we should look like.

@@spiritualrhome6584 not all models starve themselves. They work out and all of that. You see Victoria models with absolutely and are very toned because they work out. Also for some reason people think it's fine to skinny shame.t
@walkingtalkingdread5 жыл бұрын
Spiritual Rhome most models don’t starve themselves. If you have seen, Victoria’s Secret models eat very high protein and healthy diets. They work out very frequently. If they starve themselves they won’t have the energy to work out. Most of them are healthy. Just because someone is naturally tall and thin doesn’t mean that they’re unhealthy or starving themselves. It’s pathetic. To be honest with you, It isn’t even about the facts, or the statistics on how many models starve themselves. It’s that stupid tendency of people to make assumptions based on thin and tall body types. Even if you aren’t that body type, there are people who have that body type. I see so many people being rude to these people just because they have unusual and uncommon measurements.

The song itself isn’t saying that being pretty is the problem or that girls/she don’t want to be pretty, it’s the forcing of all these harsh “beauty” standards and the hazardous levels they reach that are really killing people on the inside. “Perfection is a disease of a nation,” she wrote. And it is. It kills you from the inside-out.
@Kzzhzzk6 жыл бұрын
Sia wrote this beautiful song! And yes, it is about the society nowadays, they brainwash people into making them think that you need to look a certain way to be "beautiful" when in reality beauty is something people make. At the end looks will fade and the only thing that matters is your personality

I don't know what about your dreams is making you unhappy, but I wish you the best with everything. Also, though I doubt I and anyone else can understand your exact experiences because we're not you, I wanted to let you know that a lot of people struggle with identifying, pursuing, and achieving their dreams. Please just keep trying your best and don't hate yourself for any reason. The best change and growth comes from looking at mistakes and rough points in life as challenges. I struggle with loving myself too, Lisa. However, I think you and I are doing better and will do a lot better in life than we think. Please do me a favor though, if you ever feel like this dislike of yourself gets so far out of hand that you can't manage it alone, then talk to a therapist.

my shoulders and thighs are huge

Aww, Priya, trust me, the size of your thighs and shoulders doesn't matter. It's your personality that really matters. Personally, I'd rather hang out with or date a person who had big shoulders and thighs and was kind than a person who didn't and was cruel. Besides, I've met plenty of guys and girls who actually thought thick thighs were quite attractive. They must make you look like such a powerful woman! I feel like if I had your shoulders, I'd be able to carry myself so much more confidently.
