As some of you may know, my missing cat has now passed away. He was hit by a car in another town. We got to see him before he died. But we were under the impression he would survive. Only to find out in the morning that he didn't make it due to dehydration. My Family and I are broken hearted to say the least. So I hope to be at the premiere, but I might not be super talkative... I'm not sure yet. I wanted to do a premiere as they do make me happy. But I am totally emotional right now. Anyway. hope you enjoy this video that I edited and created before my beautiful cat Rain passed away.

I love that you love the album. A lot of it is an homage to the vogue/ballroom scene which I'm part of. The chanting at the end of Heated is what the commentators at balls do. 'Pure' sounds like modern voguing music while 'Honey' is the old way classic voguing style. There's so many references on the I can't even name them all, but I am gagging!

I teared up a little bit when you were mentioning SOPHIE during All Up In Your Mind. It reminds me of Charli's interview with Apple Music on her Crash album. Charli got so emotional when she talked about SOPHIE, how SOPHIE told her to embrace her truest self, that her voice is so beautiful with or without the autotunes. SOPHIE also encouraged her to not be afraid of doing what she feel like she want to when it comes to music. It just hits so hard when we think of how music would be if SOPHIE was still here. She is gone, but her impact not only in music but also in society, of how to love and embrace yourself, will forever be here. It makes me so happy to think like this: she is no longer here to make music, but she showed other people HOW to make music, which is to be true to yourself. And that is the most powerful and beautiful thing ever!

If we're going down the Beyonce route I think you would love The Gift. It's got audio clips from The Lion King and each song is somewhat based around those clips or moments in the movie. Because of the movie's African setting, there's a lot of cultural sounds and themes and it's a mix of beautiful and powerful.
@Rhythm9732 жыл бұрын
What an amazing body of work. Classic. Also, America Has a problem is a sample of a song by Kilo Ali that referenced the crack epidemic in the 80’s. Beyoncé flipped the theme to say that She’s the new addictive drug in America. So many nuanced and clever wordplay throughout.

Album of the Year regardless of how the Grammy Awards ceremony shakes out. The Neptunes wrote and produced Milkshake, so they hold the rights. Parkwood reached out to the correct parties. Beyonce removed the sample as a courtesy even though she did nothing wrong. 47:38 In the US, alkaline water is the fanciest bottled water readily available in stores. It comes with the highest price tag. Beyonce is basically flexing and saying that she is healthy and wealthy enough to invest in exclusively drinking expensive water the way one would invest in jewelry. Essentia is my favorite brand.

She did credit her, so kelis was wrong in that regard. But Beyonce changed "energy" and removed the interpolation and removed Kelis from the credits even though Kelis didn't own "milkshake". Pharrell owns it and that's who she should be mad at most of all if he did swindle her. But yeah, Bey just took it out which is why you don't hear it. And you definitely need to listen to the uncensored version of this.

I think her music is supposed to be general love songs. She is essentially a r&b singer so that’s what’s expected. I think people forget she is a black r&b singer so that’s what she sings about is love. And she happens to actually be married and in love. So we all know who she is talking about technically but truth is it’s general love music too for anyone who wants to hear that or feels that way. We just tend to only connect it to her and Jay z rather than accepting the songs for ourselves too.

First let me say you are absolutely beautiful inside and out from what I can see. I just wanted to say I heard Beyonce for the first time when I was 16. She was with her girl group Destiny's Child, about 15-17 themselves. This was there first single titled No No No. It came on MTV while I was doing my homework with my oldest brother. I turned and looked at the TV and ask my brother "Who are They"? He said, umm I don't know. I waited for 4 hours for them to come back on to record them on my VHS because I loved them from the first note and the album wasn't out yet. I say that to say I'm an original Bey Fan. From the original Beehive 😂. What no one seem to understand is Beyonce tell all her business in her music. WHEN (sorry for the caps), she did interviews (long time ago) she wouldn't answer many personal questions but sometime after she earned her CROWN 🐝🐝🐝🐝, she stopped accepting interviews. If you go back to the beginning of her 1st solo album (she came out as a full grown women) and listen and keep listening, album after album you'll see. She really tell all her business through her art. I'm sorry this is so long 😐.
