Girl, if it was a no name artist y'all would've said that this is pagiarism, but because it's Beyonce this is "homage". This girl has been stealing ideas and sounds since she started her career. She's one of my top artists but let's keep it real here.

Beyoncé is a true example of a follower of musical traditions. She doesn't just create something new FROM HERSELF, she puts many layers of history into her songs that allow us to travel and study music in more detail and learn something new. Artists who go on forever will become eternity themselves. A true Queen!❤👑

@@Biyou22 I kept watching expecting them to include it. Maybe the person who made this isn’t queer? Moi Renee is a 90s queer icon. You have to know your gay history in order to even know her as she has passed a while ago. But what I find truly devastating is that is Moi Renee’s actual voice in the track! Moi is listed as a writer on the track. Seems like a grave oversight for someone doing a video like this but again, very queer icon from 20+ years ago.

It seems to us that the main goal of these acts is to revive certain genres. So, beyond being a masterclass in how to technically use a sample, these albums are also conceptually brilliant, blending classic songs from these genres with fresh elements, and still creating something entirely unique. Anyone who thinks it's "unoriginal" has no idea how embarrassing that opinion is and I can’t wait for act III

She is respectful and pays contributors for their contributions in addition to full acknowledgment in the writing credits. Sounds like an academically honest maverick who knows how to cite her sources to prevent copyright infringement claims, in the spirit of paying homage(and good coin too, lol).
