We ARE our brother's and sister's keepers. If our society really believed that we all are responsible to one another, we would not leave our most vulnerable behind. Another beautiful show and wonderful guest. Bravo, dear Moms and Sister!!!

This is so good! Thank you! 🙏 completely agree with everything that was said. The point about Anasagnosia and “behavioral” health. I did not know about the ER information and I’m so thankful to have learned about it.

Yes I agree that increased awareness is needed!

Lindsay mentioned genetic testing for schizophrenia. I wasn't aware that there are firm genetic markers for schizophrenia. Can you tell me what they are? Are they included in the 23andme genetic test?

Hi I don't know more about that but lindsay's email is in the show description so you can ask her. thanks!

Such a lapse in education in the medical field when it comes to the clinical psych rotation. For both Medical doctors and nurses. It's so frustrating as a nurse when we have a patient come in for a medical condition and will be with us for several days; we'll call the MD and ask them to order the patients outpatient meds. The doctors always leave off the psych meds then wonder 3 days later what's wrong with the patient. It's terrible and so preventable.

@@trevarobling8790 wow that is eye opening.

@@SZ3MomsTrenches the psych rotation is no more than 2-3 months unless you go into it as a specialty. I think people are afraid of it. I feel The Doctors don't understand the meds and stay away from them.

Has anyone had any experience with ECT?
@trevarobling8790Ай бұрын
My daughter has had 24 ECT sessions. She showed improvement for a couple days then reverted right back into psychosis. She had a lot of issues with memory loss and was really tired the day of. No other side effects. I am also a nurse and have heard from individuals that are happy that they are doing it.
