I am glad I never bought one of these - the way they do the resin is very bad, the windows for example. But thanks for the video, it confirms my choice to do one from scratch (well, from a 1:48 scale plastic bomber).

If i'm honest, it's actually a very good kit and one of the easier FW kits to build. I took a few extra precautions by pinning the wings in place. The window's are an odd one and fiddly to install at the end, but they do look really good. I can now see why they haven't switched to resin as there wouldn't be much room to have the glass thickness increased without having the redesign the kit.

No, this is the original Forgeworld resin model so it's in 40k 28mm scale... It's WAY bigger.

humm, sadly teh body apears solid so no way to make a AC-130 conversion out of it.

Those "instructions" are an absolute embarrassment. How did anyone ever think that was okay? I get that these kits are aimed at a more experienced modeler but geez.

Yeah, they're pretty basic. The Forgeworld team was very bare bones back in the day when they produced these, but you're right, they're aimed at advanced modellers so the expectation is you should be able to work it out...which isn't always as easy as you'd think.

You'll be pleased to know It's not dead at all, I just took a hiatus during summer which ended up being much longer than planned due to work and other commitments. However I'm back to editing the next video. You can also see regular updates on Facebook and Instagram where I'm still posting daily.
