Poah, it's been a while! Glad you posted the end result. Since your last vid, I purchased the Marauder myself and performed a similar conversion as yourself but with the autocannons I had spare from heavy weapon teams. I decided to go with the two triple-stacked guns as the Destroyer has though, combining the iconic looks of the two variants.

I hate to be that guy, but I’m passionate about world war 2 history especially vehicle history, you must be referring to then b24/b17 with the front facing turrets, the b52 stratofortess is still in use but was designed and fielded during Vietnam. Overall great tutorial and video just figured I’d point it out

My bad if I got the names wrong or mixed up, it's good to know for future. :) There's definitely a lot of influence from the lancaster bomber too in that marauder bomber design.

Great video! I have been working on my Maruader Destroyer for that past couple of days. I love the way you converted this plane. I just might convert mine so it can work as a regular Maruader.

Glad you liked it. It might be harder to convert it the other way due to the autocannons on the front but you could magnetise them maybe? I've not see how that kit pieces together.

@@Beyondthetabletop the nose and the tail are the only differences between them. I'm actually going to add lights to mine, I hollowed out the nose and tail and magnetized the entire model. My only issue is running wires from the fuselage to the tips of the wings for the blinking lights... I don't want to damage the wings. Again, your videos are great as you master class your models, I would've never known what to do about the missing conduits coming from the antenna on the roof of the plane.

hahaha. Yeah. It's pricey for sure. But gives you really accurate rivets. Plastic rod is doable but not as neat.
