I'm definitely in the minority, but I honestly don't believe the SnyderVerse should be the mainstream interpretation of DC's heroes. The characters have such different core values. In that scene where we see Diana being burned, it showed Hyppolita. But interestingly, behind her were the Amazons who were turned into parademons. But Hyppolita wasn't. Did Darkseid keep her "alive" just for her to watch her daughter be burned after losing her life to Darkseid? That's mega dark and depressing.

If Darkseid meant it as a witch burning idk if he would give Diana all that respect and privileges.

I just re-watched that clip, and the Amazons weren't parademons, but they're captured and being held hostage by them. If you look closely, all the parademons are surrounding the amazons, forcing them to watch Diana's burial/ burning.

The only problem in theaters with a 4 hour movie is the number of screenings you can get. You can always do an intermission, that used to be common with very long movies, but there's nothing that solves the lost money from fewer screenings

Instead of reshooting and redoing already done scenes, some of the awkward scenes could've been cut to make it a theatrical release back in 2017, like the girl singing and sniffing Aquaman's sweater. That was awkward and too long. And some scenes here and there.

@alienfleet That's kind of true. But it's not really a problem because it wasn't Warner Brothers who let him do the Snyder Cut. That was HBO Max. They are obviously independent enough. So if HBO Max and AT&T want to make more Justice League films with Zack Snyder, they can do that, and Warner Brother's won't be able to stop them. What's important is that the Snyder Cut stays successful. The fact that it crashed the Asian division of HBO Max makes me hopeful. Watching the Snyder Cut repeatedly helps as well, as does buying it on a physical disc. I've watched it twice so far, and I'm planning to buy it on 4K-UHD-Blu-ray.

I participated in a watch party with Zack Snyder and many others on Scener. People want this and he knows it, especially watching it with everyone in real time. People were going crazy. He was answering questions and cracking jokes. It was a unique and surreal experience for those of us who watched along with him. People love this film a lot. I’ve watched it twice now. It’s kept me engaged and I never took a single break when viewing it. Hands down so much potential. A couple of people criticized me a few days ago in the comment section about wanting Snyder to be the WB’s Feige of DC. His action sequences, and his vision is just perfect. I’ll stand by what I said. I’ve been saying it since man of steel. The action and vision in these movies are UNREAL. I’ve never gotten bored during a Snyder film.

I think it would be a great idea to let zack keep his universe and expand it on HBO max with mini series/ movie formats. (Not tv show format)... He could do a cyborg story and an Amazon mythology story with the old gods make it a real cool 300 vibe and ultimately leading up to the major blockbuster event of the Knightmare future that could debut in theaters. And have the extended version of that release on HBO max after its theatrical run!.. he should keep his universe and they could always just have other directors take on different versions in different universes and that could ultimately lead up to a super massive major multiverse crossover that not even marvel could match

I think they need to seriously consider giving us a new and restored Snyderverse in two ways: On HBO Max... We get a BATMAN limited show a la Snyder Cut (instead of a 4 hour movie, we get 4 1-hour long episodes every friday) as a prelude to JL2. If ZSJL was this big of a hit, imagine how big would a big budget series adaptation to Ben Affleck's and Joe Mangiello's unmade Batman film be for HBO Max and Warner Media. We get a CYBORG feature that is exclusive to HBO Max that explores more of Victor's morality. On the Cinema... Every single Justice League feature will be released on cinemas and will tell the rest of Snyder's story alongside other spin-offs and sequels like WW3 and Blue Beetle. This would literally be DC's redemption and Zack Snyder's creative requiem. Let's hope it happens!

I squealed when i seen more of the Knightmare future. I know Synder is going down a Injustice route and im hear for it. The fact that what superman was talking about when he said, "she was my world and you took her for me" in BvS He was referring to Batman bringing him back which made Darkside notice them. And then seeing that from Cyborg and Flash that in the future its leads to Woderwoman getting sent to the "River Styx", Aquaman getting "rammed", GL Kilowag getting "laid out", and Batman maybe getting his "heart crushed", IS JUST WOW. I would love if Darkseid is the main bad of Justice league 2, and for the near end of this series, it ends up being The Last Son Of Krypton. : )

The Joker scene to me is genius. The way Zach shot that scene with a very uneasy, unstable camera going in and out of focus puts the audience in an uneasy uncomfortable situation watching it. It adds to feeling just as unstable as the joker. It also shows just how bad the situation is to resort to putting an ounce of trust in the joker and give him a gun. Beautiful to watch

People think it was all Whedon in those shows, but now it’s obvious if given free rein, he’s not really all that great and almost a hack, tbh. It’s like he needs others to make up for his short comings. I suspect the Avengers movie came out ok in spite of Whedon, rather than because of him, just because Kevin Feige had such strong reins on it. On the second outing of Whedon in Avengers, where he was given more control probably, you start seeing the cracks - no wonder he was let go after that.
