The second would be to Gambit even though he received much less screentime than Storm, in my opinion. His Genosha sacrifice is one of the key highlights of this season.

Grace. If Xavier turned the power back on with Magneto’s powers before the Gold Team defeated Bastion, then the Prime Sentinels would come back online and kill Jean, Storm, Beast, etc. That’s why Cyclops blasted Xavier. If he didn’t, the mutants would have lost the war in that moment.

The reason, Cyclops told Xavier to hold off from taking down Magneto, was the other team had to take down Bastion first before Magneto's magnetic field could come down. If they didn't take Bastion out first, all the Prime sentinels would have been re-activated. They explained this earlier in the show.

I like how they didn't shy away from the fact that Magneto's actions in the Arctic caused the death of thousands. Rogue's dialogue justifying her switch is the highlight dialogue of the show. It seems like everyone is getting a moment like that.

I believe Scott was more angry at Professor X because he felt abandoned by him. Who he sees as a father figure. Which Scott mentioned earlier in the season when they were talking about sending his son (Nathan) in the future. He said he didn't want to abandon his son, like his father did him. So when the professor came back, that anger of feeling abandoned yet again came back.

It doesn't make sense. Episode 76 everyone was crying because he was dying. He didn't have a choice. Scott should know that. If anything, everyone shoulda been overjoyed he was back considering they didn't know if he was dead or alive.

It just seems like a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. if he had put Scott in charge, he'd be standing there lecturing Charles about how "he deserves to raise his family, how dare you put that mission on me!" And what really doesn't make sense, is that Jean (ala Maddy) literally told Scott "maybe he's doing this so we can raise a family" like she understood, and meanwhile Jean Jean is standing there scowling at Prof X like she hates him too. Le sigh.

I always knew Roberto would eventually side it with Magneto. And i don't blame him. Unlike Jubilee, he didn't go through all that with the X-Men, all the adversity and the good times that forge bonds. The X-Men are about acceptance and chosen family. Everyone on the team is an orphan or outcast. Even Storm said the most valuable thing you can gain from being an X-Men is a family. Roberto already had a family, a father and a mother who cared about him, the people he should be able to trust and would care for him the most. Put yourself in his shoes: you come out to your parents but discover that they always knew and supported you, just to say that regardless of anything you would have to live hiding who you are. After everything, his mother had the courage to tell him to turn himself in, she let her own son be chained just to keep up appearances. For her, that was easier and more comfortable than dealing with the situation alongside Roberto. That was a stab in the back. I felt Roberto's pain. Not to mention that at that moment, following Xavier's dream was more dangerous than ever. Risking your life for people who hate you is almost too much to ask of any new person who doesn't already have those ties with the team, with that family.

Genosha was wild Sentinel to push the public view to a different point as per Bastion who was playing 4D chess Magneto's EMP most likely killed thousands of not millions of people including Mutants

Thats how it was in the comics because Sinister was obsessed with creating the ultimate mutant using Jean and Scott but in the comics it was revealed that it was because he wanted to control the Phoenix force but through Madelyn he wasn't able to. Im sure Jean will use the Pheonix force in the next episode to defeat both Cable and Sinister.

I dont see Rogue and Sunspot and choosing “Evil”… i see them making their choices because they are angry and betrayed and feel almost helpless. Switching gears because their way wasn’t working. Also, Rogue is a stand in for Colossus who joined Magneto’s Acolytes in Anger and Grief after his baby sister Illyana died from the Legacy Virus. Either just before or during the Fatal Attractions storyline: Also, i see a Possibility for “Joseph,” Feral Wolverine, and even “Onslaught” for season two or three here.

I think the reason Cyclops interfered in the Xavier Magneto fight is because if he'd allowed Xavier to re-power the planet, it would have potentially increased *Bastion's* power significantly, as he could have re-engaged some of/all of, his Prime Sentinels :) Yet another AWESOME video Grace, thank you so much for your content - been a fan for ages :D
