Nothing against Pete from me either. But please know that what most of us find outstanding in your videos Mr. Harrison is you. Pete is an excellent teacher, and nothing wrong making changes to move forward. But for me, the success of Soham Harrison videos, is Soham Harrison himself. Thank you.

I think we always remember our first teacher, who patiently plodded along with us in the beginning of this extensive journey. And it's always wise to backtrack to those first lessons to rid yourself of the bad habits you may have picked up.

I've already signed up for that new training site have been accessing daily, and downloading Peter's and your videos for sometime. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Peter is guiding me on which videos to watch, download on my projects. I love it and I recommend to everyone. Love the fact that all the formulas are available in writing because I can't follow what is divided, multiplied while trying to watch the instructions. I am challenged that way. And the fact that most of the videos are HD format allows me to zoom in on my mac to see the details clear. I love it and will be spending portion of my earnings from each piece I make on my education through this site. Thank you.

Soham...the community of jewelers I work with respect and admire you. We thank you for what you are giving back - you are making it possible for others to learn and providing us with inspiration to create. That being said - we cannot find the second video for this "bezel with a wrapped shank." Could you please provide the link for it if it is not being shared on this venue? Thanks so much!

Thank you very much for your generosity and for sharing your knowledge with us. It is very expensive to get all the tools so we have to go as we can. Your videos have helped me so very much to learn and you are a very good teacher. I just want you to know how appreciated you are. What you are doing in sharing your teachings with us means a very great deal to us. I love your projects and your style. Thank you again.

Could you please make a video about soldering ball embellishments with sterling and or gold? I’m having a devil of a time trying to get them to stay where I need them, particularly in trying to solder them onto curved surfaces such as hoops and rings. I know it’s very basic but I’ve watched every video I can find yet none of them have addressed this. I know about flattening the bottom when soldering into a backplate but curved surface to curved surface? Any tips even would be wonderful. Thank you for all that you do.

Hello Soham. I am actually commenting on setting up an acetylene/oxygen system. I bought a Smith Little Torch and am having a devil of a time getting a neutral flame. I am using a number five tip and set both regulators at 6 psi. I give the acetylene torch valve a 1/4 turn, strike the flint and get my flame, it burns off some black soot (which is not great for my apartment, and something I didn't know about before I got acetylene instead of propane), and then I gently turn on the oxygen valve. No matter what, I still have orange in the flame at the end and also, twice now it has popped after I turned off the oxygen torch valve, then the acetylene torch valve completely. Can you offer advice? Many thanks for any help. Mostly what I find online is for welders.
@1soham19 жыл бұрын
+Jennifer Stumpf i would double the pressure on both the oxy and acetylene. it just sounds like you need more oxy pressure. it sounds like the gas valve is leaking a bit. i just blow out the small flame on mine so it doesnt pop. it shouldnt be a problem if you have flashback arresters. it is just startling.

+soham harrison Thank you so much. I did end up switching out the acetylene tank for propane as the soot was overwhelming and the company I bought the regulator from found that it had a defect that was causing creeping, so got it switched out. Thanks for your comment. Very helpful, as are your videos, which I watch obsessively. I have learned more from your videos than I ever did in jewelry classes.

Hello Soham and Peter. Great granddaughter (age 8) and I are having real adventures watching your videos and trying your projects. Please keep up the good work. Love the less complicated learning experiences that we can share. I also want to sign up for Peter's courses but have searched without any luck in finding the web site. I see a few videos on youtube but no site comes up on Google. Help,Help!! Thank you both.

Is jewelry spelled differently in Australia? I just noticed how the website is spelled. With two L's. I kept not being able to fine the site by memory, because of the spelling.
