Hi, since Eureka grinders are assembled by hand not everyone will have the same reference point so it's not possible for me to provide you with a number. Plus there are also other variables such as the coffee you are using. Some coffees will require a finer grind than others. Hello! I have a Bezzera BZ16 DE, can i not plumb in and connect it just with the 5gallon water jug without flojet pump. Is that okay and will not hurt my machine? Thanks!!

I see boiler pressure is set to 1.1 while my machine is 1.2 may I know the best pressure for this machine? Mine also set to 11bar for brew pressure with blind basket, shall I go down to 10 or 9? thanks

I have the Magica and I lowered the brew pressure down to 9.5 and now it tastes much better than when it was with the factory setting.

Good video. I notice that: 1- There is a switch instead of a lever for brewing coffee. Don't like this much. 2- No possibility of thermometer nor flow control in brew head. 3- Lever type valves for steam and water. Excellent idea. Shot timer? I comparison between HX machines (Mara X, ECM, etc) good be great.

Bezzera tends to set their machines a little higher than 9 bars but this can be adjusted down if you so desire.

Hello, the Bezzera Duo is a double boiler with pid control over the extraction and the steam temperature whereas the Elektronika is a heat exchanger with a pressurestat. My preference would be towards a dual boiler.

@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada good point. The bezzera is with other brewhead and the ecm with e61, is this a drawback? Both are waterconnection I think. Are there alternatives for these machines anyway, with automatic dosing?

@@PhilippeCJR the other Bezzera is the Matrix which has an e61. The original design of the e61 has to be modified for volumetric dosing. The Bezzera group is very good though. There is no maintenance because there are no moving parts inside the group. You just have to change the gasket and screen like on any machine but there are no valves inside the group like on the E61 which reduces maintenance

Can I swap the steam lance with the hot water outlet?

Hi, unfortunately not, the hot water comes from the bottom of the boiler and the steam comes from the top. If you were to reverse the order you would get steam from the hot water faucet and water from the steam wand. Changing them would require modifications to the piping inside the machine which is not something that would be easy to do.

@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada hey! I'm using regular Apple Earpods on my computer and most often the "s"-sounds are very harsh I think. So for example at 00:27 "... and what that _consists_ of ..." feels a bit achy. It's just my opinion, I don't know if it's caused by my computer's settings or something...
