Nice review! I got my BZ13 about 3 weeks ago. Love this machine. So far I’ve had about the same experience you have. I wanted the new version of this. Sold out when I tried to get it. I’m still happy with the BZ13. I don’t think you can get another PID machine at this price. The grinder and BZ13 combo makes awesome espresso and lattes.

@@JoeyWatsonReal I like it. I've been having issues getting good shots. Just found out that my grinder might be the problem. Sent it in for repair. Hoping that fixes my espresso issues. Great review. One thing -> You should start brewing the moment You lock portafilter in the machine. This is why the coffee flow was so fast. If You have doubts, do a comparison -> brew immediately vs 10 min insidie group. The coffee grind might be good. PS I am looking to get bezzera crema PID.

@@BeastModeBC bruh your life will be so much better if you just adjust the OPV and tamp your coffee. Pressure and tamping the coffee are the absolute fundamentals to this idk why you’re bothering with one of those silly distribution tools. Tools like that basically do nothing, only flattens the top of the bed not all the way through. They were literally invented to score higher in the WBC for a flat puck and nothing else.

Your brew pressure is too high, to begin with. Adjust it down to 9.5 bars first. Once you find the right grind size, brew pressure should be 9 bars max. Adjust the grind size up or down to maintain 9. bars on each shots. Up date: Your grind is too fine that's the reason your brew pressure is increasing. You're doing it all backward. Go coarser on your grind to lower your brew pressure down...It's pitiful to say you're getting confused.
@Squilliam-Fancyson2 жыл бұрын
10-11 bars is just fine for vibe pump machines. There is a lot of pressure lost on the way where it's measured and where it actually finds it's way out of the group heads shower screen. Bezzera all sets their vibe. pump driven machines to 11bar and advise not to change it.
