Your skill at painting and weather is something that a lot of us would aspire too. please spend more time on your videos showing us how to do these things in detail. Showing what products and techniques you use. Lovely work.

Scale Model Assassin the German liveries are very vibrant. You can build 20 109s and not do the same one twice

Like you I can't spray straight lines with my airbrush. I find that post shading with very dilute Tamiya paint works for panel lines etc. By dilute I'm almost just dipping a brush of it in a full cup of IPA. It means that you have to go over the lines a good few times but its very forgiving of wavy lines! Love the 109 though; excellent.

Thank you, I think that's the way to go if you're going to post shade

Very good Work from A Me 109 G 6 from the Jg 54 1944 What me suprised is i had build the Yellow 1 from the Staffel Leader Oberleutnant Schilling and he has no cannons under the wings

I'm doing that exact a/c in those markings except in 1/32nd..9/JG 54 "Yellow 9" Fw. Emil Hecker (some think it might be a G-14 as there is no starboard side photos to prove otherwise) but I'll go with the good folks from Eagle Editions knowledge. Nice work my friend
@ScaleModelAssassin4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Do you have any pics of the original aircraft? I spent quite some time searching the internet and never found one.
@axesspeaklouderthanwords80774 жыл бұрын
@@ScaleModelAssassin the only pictures I have are what's included in the Eagle Editions decal sheet EC#40 (one with the pilot himself next to it and the other a a full length profile shot) also it seems no "devils" badge is on the cowl as that was on his earlier Bf.109G-5 "Yellow 11" which he shared w/ Fw.Fritz Ungar and Uffz Gerhard Kroll. Also the spinner back plate was all yellow (the spinner back plate you have in RLM70 and white is from his G-5 which was lost 8 April 44 with Kroll KIA. Btw if you can find the book Jagdwaffe vol. 5 Defending the Reich, 1943-44 you'll find far more info about the unit and it's pilots plus a/c flown including your build :-) HTH

The choice of "Danse macabre" (death dance) by Camille Saint-Saens for your background music is really macabre. I'm not so convinced of your modelling effort. First the thick grooves for instance on the fuselage did not appear so on the real aircraft. In fact from 1942 on the panel lines were filled and carefully sanded. The camouflage colors on the upper surfaces look rather odd. Perhaps these gray-greens satisfy your personal taste, but they don't have much to do with the actual colors. The landing gear was normally painted in the undersurface-color ((RLM 76 lightgray).
@ScaleModelAssassin4 жыл бұрын
To each his own. If you have some photos of this particular aircraft from 1944 please share. Also, Danse Macabre is an excellent song, however if you dont like it, I would suggest the "mute" button.

Outstanding job with the aircraft but I have to tell you, no self respecting crew chief is going to let their aircraft look so dirty and scratched up. Not sure why so many excellent modelers make their aircraft look like they have dropped in a mud pit.
