Of course the mother who sided with the cheaters turned out to be a cheater herself. Cheaters ALWAYS have each others' backs.

Story 1: It’s not only just the ex cheating. It’s the fact that OP’s inner circle (especially her mom and sister) did NOTHING to comfort or support her. And what a surprise, Mommy Dearest ended up being a cheater herself.

Thisi s fake based on an old reddit famous story (legit story). The writer used most of the details and redditors assuming their is a swinger relationship between the 3 friend families to justify them ganging up on OP and supporting the BFF affair daughter and foring the bf to marry her.

@@justinyu5892 Yea I agree. To be fair to her sister, she was young. As a teen, you're impulsively selfish. I'm sure she just was worried about her own relationship and fearing that it would end if all of this was rocking the boat. Good on her for maturing and realizing her wrongs when she became an adult. SMH at their mother though. Acting like a child at her grown age.

I remember my mom talking about what names they had come up for me before I was born, ultimately I’m happy having been named after my great grandfather (variation at the least) instead of something like Samual with Sam being the more common thing people would call me. I was like 14 at the time when I heard that name as it’s what my mom really liked, and just straight up told her I am so happy you didn’t name me that. Maybe rude to say that but I know for a fact I’d of had more problems at school had I had a name that sounded like a girls.

Story 1) crazy and I think I've heard something similar to this before. Story 2) sounds like the husband was more freaked out about "becoming" a father that he hyper fixated on the name but when the baby actually came and was there it relaxed him and that's why he folded so easily to naming his daughter Ella.

Story 1: the irony of cheaters its like they they act like cheating is a one time thing but Op's mom has been doing it for 25 years under everyone's nose, and with her husbands best friend. And the fact she wants her husband to "forgive and forget" is insanely narcissistic, and downright emotional abuse. like did she really love her husband within those 25 years or was that just pity and lies?

I would've simply told the mother in first story that there's a difference between forgiveness and reconciliation. Forgiveness is for the person who was wronged. Reconciliation is for both parties. Forgiving a person does not mean you have to be near them, talk to them, or be friendly. You could very well ignore their existence and still forgive. The mother had no right to pressure OP for reconciliation and assume it's the same thing when OP is practically traumatized.

S2: I object to the idea that you can't EVER name a kid after someone, but I think the ideal is someone who's been long departed by the time the kid arrives so that everyone's had the time to grieve and the kid can carry the name as their own without any expectations on their shoulders. As an example, I wanna name my first son after my grandfather, I don't even have a long term SO yet, so that kid is gonna be well removed from any pressure by the time they get my grandfather's name. Also my grandfather's name is an actually good one on its own, bit folksy but it's the kind that sticks out in a good way.

His name choice is stupid but why do you care so much that he be honored? I haven’t finished the story but that’s such a stupid thing to be upset about some people really need to go outside. Even in the end everyone’s like “oh he’s so self centered that he just goes with any name that sounds similar to what he wants” Or or or, and hear me out You don’t actually know him or what he was thinking and he probably liked that name🤯🤯
