Those steppers are freaking enormous!

Yep, half the length would probably have been enough, but they looked a lot smaller on the Aliexpress listing :D But rather too big of a motor than to small.

@Datulab Tech Great Work! I think you're steppers have a higher tourge than 5,5 Nm? What kind of ballscrew's do you use? The look like 2010(diameter 20mm x pitch 10mm) or 2005? Jetzt nochmal auf Deutsch, da mein Englisch nicht das beste ist und ich nicht alle Wörter nachschlagen mag: Sieht so aus als hättest du Motoren verwendet mit weit mehr als 5,5NM? Was für Kugelumlaufspindeln verwendest du? Sieht nach 20mm Durchmesser aus mit 10mm Steigung? Auf welche genauigkeit kommst du beim Fräsen? Danke für deine informativen Videos und die gute Arbeit! Gruß aus Hessen

If those BK30 bearing blocks are from china - then its probably deep groove bearings. I recommend replacing them and putting a spacer in there.

A manufacturer has told me that the xx30 is using plastic gears inside and I better use the xx32 which is belt driven again. Is this machine belt driven or does it also use plastic gears?
@DarkArtGuitars3 жыл бұрын
It has metal gears, but if might be different for the various manufacturers making this kind of mill.

Also - do you have sinus problems? You sound very nasally. Not trying to be rude or mean. But it might be worth getting correction if your sinus' are bothering you. Or even if they aren't.

he sounds just like the Swiss people who have lived in Australia for years, perhaps a slight lisp which isn't that unusual to me as my step son has a cleft palate.

@@ADVtheMISSIONARY You could be right. I wouldn't know about what you describe. I notice he sounds a bit like me with the problems I've had with my sinuses for a number of years.
