Resto Shaman is my favorite Healer by a mile. This video is a little old, there are a lot more options out there on how to heal m+ as rsham. It’s the most versatile healer imo.

nice, as a main elemental sham switching to resto for guilds raids its super great, way better than than EP as resto in Ny. Great video, ising crit vers stats with crafted alc trinket (peerless) and 3x sprouting spirits traits, spirit link is juicy and a game changer in Ny raid! on fights such as Drest and Ilg (boss 9 & 10) resto sham plays difficult since so many spread and movement, its not as bad on Nzoth since you have a fixed group you stick to

hi mate! I'll share my thoughts on it. for raid content I feel like you are on point, personally i run 39 crit / 15 haste / 91 mastery / 14 vers (without buffs - got flash of insight and void ritual t3).instead of ERT i run formless void minor. for m+ i run battle shaman 25 crit / 23 haste / 58 mastery / 16 vers (again - no buffs with flash of insight and crit proc t3). i can run 15s easily this week and previous week however on some dungeons i might struggle with constant single target tank damage - for those dungeons i'd swap my crucible major (or formless void this week for fortified) for vitality conduit (crucible/formless/vitality major - depending on dungeon, c&s/preservation minors). for m+ i swap between unleash life and undulation as well.

@MadSkillzzTV Ancestral Vigor is a much better m+ talent over earthen. It works better with shaman mastery and increases your throughout always. Also I don’t know if you’re thinking of flash food as you should. I never flash flood healing surge. I only use it for casts that will always be greater than the gcd. For example. Riptide>healing wave(reduced cast time because it’s consuming a wave)>Healing rain (flash flood applies to healing rain as well)>riptide>healing wave>chain heal. This is the best way to maximize your cast time reduction. You could also consume your tidal waves with healing surge to really ramp your healing waves or unleash chain heals.

Crit also passively generates mana for Rshaman, so having high crit helps negate Rshaman mana issues

I don’t know if it has changed but Cloudburst used to only take healing which YOU do (nothing from totems or trinkets)

Try the “questionably epic live” essence simulation. Paste in your simc and then it’ll rank your potential essence combinations

I personally run no dps traits at all as I hate the thought of being stuck on a GCD from lava bursting when an actual DPS need a heal.

Obsidian Claw is nice for some damage/mana regen. The Alchemy Trinket/Conch/Other stat stick (with crit/vers proc) for the secondary. I personally use the Ra-den trinket with vers/crit but only because I don't have the Alchemy one. You can join the Ancestral Guidance Discord for better answers - they have the simmers.
