It's because you don't rely on glimmer for your throughput in m+. It's all about your crit from holy shocks. Glimmer is nice but it's not where your throughput comes from.

OMG. I did not know that the Azerite traits for other specs actually work when you switch to a different spec that cannot learn it. IE switch to Ret to learn Light's Decree and then switch back? That is awesome!! This definitely works then?

I am Crit = Vers > haste = mastery. And my mastery is still highest stat by 10% at 34%. Vers adds healing no matter how far you are. I have 5% vers and I got a prot shield equiped that increase 8% vers from all sources.

If you have nothing else it's okay but preferably there is another helm from azerite vendor that gives glimmer, indomitable justice and other great traits. There is a point where to much haste can be wonky. I find the best area is 30-40% haste base line I run 38% haste, 23% crit, 30% mastery and it is very balanced!

I hate this playstyle. It converts holy paladins into raid healers which completely ruins our niche of a healing spec. Ive also seen it ruin people in m+ because while glimmer is nice, it's not your bread and butter throughput or our damage. It's holy shock. I can out damage tanks and sometimes bad DPS on boss fights and it's fun. But it's not because of glimmer.

Liked the video, but im very confused as to why you wouldnt pick Ever Rising Tide, or atleast mention it as an option, in raids as your major. Holy paladins have an abundance of mana, so its basically just free healing. I was running with Visions of Perfection major for a while, but it just felt like 90% of the time, it would proc off of a holy shock, and then i would only be able to get 1 extra holy shock out, which to me didnt feel worth the major slot, so i use it as a minor instead

if there's not much dmg happening, you can use your holy shock on the boss, applying a glimmer. So if you pop wings and are just shocking boss & critting each time, it's a lot dmg. Also he mentioned using corruption dmg pieces. I carry guildies thru heroics this way.

Seems weird that Hpal don't want minor essences like vitality conduit, or life binders etc that a lot of other healers tend to use. Conflict, and crucible both seem odd to me, but all the top paladins use them.

I personally like to play with vitality conduit and it makes like 8-10% of my hps. i got the feeling it procs regulary on glimmer and light of dawn what just makes it nice to balance out health. but tbh i dont have a fuckin clue what im doin. just playing like i want to :P

Pablo Sanchez It makes far more sense for the guy in full plate and the big hammer/sword and shield to be stood at the front hitting things and healing his friends than stood at the back. This is how paladin should have always played since vanilla, IMO.

I disagree with the rotation. In many situations its not worth making sure your light of dawn always is on cd. Then its just better to spam crusader strike and holy shocks that they are the most important things, and not light of dawn

Usually more in mythic + than raids. In mythic + it is a good damage filler. In raids it is very situational, like it is fine to use it in down time for raids, but that's when there isn't healing needed. In normal and heroic raiding, where there is less damage going out, you'll have more opportunities to use it rather than mythic raiding.

I really want to try hpaladin but I'd have to farm essences from scratch, grind neck and cloak... Fml BFA is so damn grindy and anti alters, I hate this. By the way I gotta say I find it unfair that a class with a simpler dps rotation with more direct healing and better CDs is performing better than Fistweaving which is way less reliable when you need to heal a target (since it's pretty random and most of the time you're healing through hots that jump to other targets), have worse CDs and their rotation is way warder, specially when you have to interrupt it to hard cast heals. I mean I've gotta try to stack Tiger palm up to 3 times, see if I have thunder focus tea up, use my renewing mists and essence fountain before rising sun kick, fill up one second if I used thunder focus tea, then cast again rising sun kick and cross my fingers to get a reset with blackout kick. All that while having an eye on people's health in case you need to interrupt your rotation and cast vivify or something else, keeping up soothing mist preferibly on tanks. Oh and we need perfect mana administration since Way of the crane costs 25k mana, trying to use it with mana tea if possible so it costs half of it. I mean it's fun as hell to play as a fistweaving, but I feel like it's not rewarding enough to play that build when you could just play hpally or discipline, I'd really apretiate some tuning from Blizzard to make it more appealing somehow. Even if it was just changing or improving monk cds would be enough probably, they're quite trashy... Anyways, going back to paladins, I really love them and I think I'll try to gear one, it was my first healing class so I'll always have some love for them in my heart (of Azeroth)

I might have to eat my own words, fistweaver with haste is quite interesting and specially fun, despite being a bit hard to manage at the beginning and needing really nice timing over the use of vivifies (or way of the crane on certain bosses). I'm having a blast with it and topping the meters in HC. I hope I can still be usefull for mythic content, though Wrathion and Skitra are bad for this build
