So I've been on them for nearly a month, and I didn't really want to review them until I redid the rear suspension, to include PCI Spherical RTA bushings, camber adjusters, and spherical toe links. And I must say, they really are great on the street once the rest of the suspension is up to par. I'll be coming out with another video to show what I've done on the rear of the car as well as review the suspension. They really do ride well though. They aren't Fortune Auto's, but they also aren't bouncy, the adjusters actually do something. I am now 6 clicks from full hard on all four corners. Have not tried the hardest setting. Car rotates very well. I would like to see the rear springs at 6k instead of 5k as they were shipped with, but it isn't bouncy or under sprung by any means, and these aren't advertised as competition type coil overs to race on, but with the other modifications I have on the car, it really feels like its on rails. I'm curious to see how it does once I turn the power up. Overall, they will work great for a daily driver.

They look awesome for 200$+-. I just got a civic ef hatchback and the suspension is shot. Nice to see that they look as good as in the pictures.

Thank you for the review I was looking everywhere, my car is Toyota GT86 and someone offered me a set of BFO coilovers, I only have one question, does it handle better than the stock one?

Yes, they do handle better than stock. There are better handling coilovers out there but not at this price point. Even the ones in the $5-600 range don’t outperform these.

I can't find much about the company but it seems to have a positive reception so far. would you mind measuring the thread pitch? idk if it will match spec for the kit I'm considering but I'd like to try these with air bellows on an LS400. Can the coilovers go lower than what you had it. I have the maxpeedingrod ones and am bottomed out in front and still have a 2 finger gap. Wanting to see if these bfo coilovers can go lower than what I have.

Yes, they will at least go another 1.5" lower, possibly closer to 2". And that is without messing with the spring preload. They will definitely go lower than the Maxspeedingrods will go.

The spanner wrenches are the same as the Maxspeedingrods coils

I'll be coming out with an update video, as they did settle a little bit in the rear. I was just waiting until the rest of the rear suspension gets upgraded this week. Spherical toe links, PCI spherical RTA bushings, and camber adjustment going on. So far, they have done well. Anxious to see how they do once the rear is a little more solid around them.

It isn’t horrible. Not sure what the spring rates are for the Cobalt but for the price, they are far superior to the old style coil over sleeves and a lot less bouncy

I did eventually swap them out for Progress CS2’s because the suspension better matched the Valving of the CS2’s. However these went onto an EF hatch and are doing great. As long as you don’t slam it to death, they work great for the price.

Again, I sort of wish they had 6k springs on the back but that is just nitpicking. They ride surprisingly well and will go much lower than what I have them. Overall, they are probably the best budget coil over I’ve had on a Civic/CRX

Yes, I could lower it probably an inch and half more without touching the spring preload. But for this car/wheel tire combo, I would have to roll the fenders. But yes, it will go significantly lower.

They settled a bit in the back. Again, I think they should have come with a minimum 6k spring in the rear but overall they have performed well. Especially with the other modifications I have made to the car.
