BG Engine Restoration Cleaner 2010 Honda CRV 1 of 2

This is the process on how to clean the inside of the engine of a 2010 Honda CRV that has a lot of gunk inside the engine as a result of the engine burning oil or not changing the oil on time.
Oil and Oil filters were obtained through the Honda dealership, but there are alternatives to getting the oil and filters through eBay or Amazon.
Drain Bolt torque is 29 ft-lb

It was burning less oil when I checked on the next oil change. Now I checked again, and I cannot tell if it's burning oil, so I believe I fixed the issue. The oil level has not changed in 3 months so far, I want to believe that it's because of the cleaner. I don't know why the change was gradual. I did try the BG three can kit prior to doing this and saw no difference. So I like this kit, except that it's too expensive.

@@fixit9888 I'm thinking on doing it to my car, yes it is expensive but apparently works. I have seen several videos on KZbin and they all have good results. Too bad you didn't do a compression test before and after to se the improvements. Thanks for getting back to me.

@@harryballs3445 this BG product is about $320 on Amazon. There are other products out there that you can use to try to clean all the gunk in the engine that are cheaper. An example is Liqui Molly which is about $20. If you do use it, buy an extra oil filter and oil so that you can run the car with the new oil and after a week of driving with the new oil, you can change the oil to remove as much of the cleaner as possible out of the engine.
