What about putting new ends on? I have the same situation - cut my hose in half with the mower. But I'd like to turn it into two 50' hoses. How would you do that?
@fixit988812 күн бұрын
@@RACHELMCCARTY-eu1uz I will be getting rid of about 15 ft of hose, but I guess it would be interesting to try that.

Question, anyone who knows... I bought a new OEM PCV. I blew into one side horizontally (the way it is installed on my engine) and it had an air leak. Vertically, there was no air leak. I returned it and got another one, but the same issue? Maybe my lungs are not as strong as an engine! What do I do? Order another one? On my engine (toyota) it is a difficult R&R.

Good job! I just disassembled mine and ordered a rebuild kit. I’ll use some of your tips when I do the rebuild. I especially like the tip about lowering the blade to get better access to the motor mount bolts. Thanks.

You do not have to relearn the idle after this. Our Gen CRVs do not have an idle relearn procedure. The procedure in your description doesn’t work on models after 2009. All you have to do is drive normally and it will fix itself. The idle relearn only applies to Honda CRVs prior to 2010. The 2010 and up have throttle adaptation.

I noticed that the squealer was originally at the top, but when you replaced it was on the bottom. Do you have any comments on that? kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4qUYoKdg5WMl7csi=ge3CiXEVwszKV2_R&t=335 kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4qUYoKdg5WMl7csi=aBb_TwY_RE6eDBv3&t=734

The bionic line is good, what I learned DO NOT pull it if it's hung up on anything. You can unravel it's outer stainless casing.

Very helpful! The clear plastic cap with the gasket in my machine is so caked in scum I thought I was doing something wrong trying to pull it out... it's completely stuck! 🤢

Oil can never reach the PCV valve. If it could the engine would have used a lot of oil. And the PCV valve would have been cleaned by the oil. In fact it not washed that is why it accumulates ash particles over time.

the pressure from the water will stick cause it to leak at the site where it was cut

I am going to try to create another video with another coupling method. There are better ways to prevent it from leaks, but the problem is that when we start spending above a certain amount, it makes more sense to just buy a new hose.

Mine started to leak. Can you tell me how to unravel the steel link?
@brianbassett4379Ай бұрын
I bought a 100" Bionic Steel hose for around $60 with a 5-year warranty. After one winter or about 7 months of use, it started leaking. I called the Customer Assistance number provided on the Amazon website, showed them screenshots of the purchase and pictures of the leak, and they sent a new hose. You're welcome to the hose with the leak if you like.
@sweettaterpie700921 күн бұрын
Warrantee does not cover damage done to the hose by a vehicle or other equipment.

You don't need any thing to pry the arm from the wiper transmission , just push down on the arm and it will get unseated
@rabindrarobinson8959Ай бұрын
No, instead of lifting the arm all the way up what u should do is push down and you can lift up the whole arm

At 6:39, the white circle, is that the drain? Is it accessible? I have buildup underneath in the reservoir right before drain pump so I'm guessing i need to clean it up from the top.

This was very very helpful. Thank you. I am planning to change the grease of the gear mechanism between the two top bearings. What kind of grease should I use? The reason I ask is because I used NLGI 2 grease, different type and they all flew out of the casing making a mess. I figured one need to have a much thicker grease to stay in the enclosure between the two bearings, to keep grease on the gears.
