With access to the internet, everyone should know their legal rights if that is of importance to them At any time, when law enforcement ask are you willing to come down and speak to us. You have the ability to say NO. If you are not under arrest. The police do not have to question you at headquarters unless they have a warrant. You can be questioned by phone, in the park, library, or fast food restaurant. When the police have the evidence, they arrest you. At any time during your questioning, you have the right to remain silent, ask for an attorney, ask are you able to leave and if so leave, you have a right to know why you are being questioned, and you have a right to simply say just take me to jail. Working in law enforcement for 26 in law enforcement, I found people often failed to realize that they had the right to say NO. They assumed that when police asked for them to come down for questioning that was a requirement. They had no idea that police could officially question you anywhere even if you were under arrest. But you are not required to go to police headquarters for questioning if you don't want to. Keefe D brought this on himself. Kading nor the US attorney never asked Afeni how she felt about a proffer or informed of a proffer either. Afeni would have never agreed to a proffer in exchange for a confession and queen for a day for anyone involved in the murder of her son. It's ironic but Orlando mother knows exactly how Afeni feels to lose a son over senseless violence. She understands the open wound Afeni carried with her daily, from wondering what 2pac last words were, did he call for me, what it feels likes to to identify his body, go to the morgue and never being able to hold your son again. The fact Keefe d would brag and boast all while opening wounds for everyone involved reads just like he is if I was tasked with doing a behavioral assessment of him. Keefe d is a narcissistic sociopath with obvious homicidal tendencies. Lacks remorse, empathy , and inability to function within norms.

@@kerry2921 Afeni would not have agreed to a proffer. Essentially letting the man confessed his involvement in your 1st and only son's murder for a confession and queen for a day. Afeni was an incredible black woman strong and honorable. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person on a few occasions. Pac father Billy Garland as well didn't agree with the proffer. I knew 2pac personally and although he wasn't my son, brother, husband, or baby daddy. There is no way you can justify a confession and letting someone walk free as closure. Ask the many families who have loss children how they would feel and the continuous open wound that the loss of a child doesn't heel. We never ask someone who lost a leg to move on, but we assume when one looses a child or loved they are to move on and unfortunately agree to a proffer that Essentially would let the killer walk free.
