Wow just seeing this months later. As a native of Baltimore I want Morgan to be the beast of a program I know it can be. This was a sorry performance. A&T ran through them with ease. Idk what happened because the last 2 years the program showed much improvement but for a collegian ensemble to sound the way they do is a joke. There are high schools with better sound quality. Hopefully the program gets the much needed breath of innovation next season.

Wave Man Mike Excuses? A&T played “4” Songs and the 5th Quarter has no rules,song limit ,boundaries or time limit! I highly doubt that A&T agreed to a song limit! Morgan just wasn’t ready or playing to their best ability! Had y’all not walked out of them stands I’m sure A&T would’ve kept blowing songs at you all!

Morgan is holding back and it’s hurting them. They have a lot of potential to be a contender but it’s something about the way that they play in the stands! It’s like they are scared to break out and project their sound! Would love to see them just snap and go for a raw but clean sound in the stands! They need more bite/attitude!

Joel Pichardo It’s because they are coming into a program and automatically picking up where the alumni left off! It’s triggering down and they are passing the lackluster vibes to the newer members! Morgan has to have a breaking point where they say ok enough is enough! It will take everyone by surprise plus help with recruiting!

Right! Their playing with control but they should’ve brought the volume with the control. It’s not about being loud but in parts of the songs sometimes you have to turn it up a bit. Too many horns over there, should’ve been a fuller sound

Joel Pichardo it’s more than just having euphoniums, Morgan band play with no intensity (Especially the upper brass) which is why these other MEAC bands don’t see them as a threat! They have have to break out of that juvenile sound! Morgan band has the size and potential to take on bands like A&T, Norfolk and other bands but Morgan isn’t playing with no type of power at all and it’s rubbing off on the younger generation! Morgan has been playing like this for years! They gotta break out of that safe zone!
